Okonogi announced to the new addition of officers as the doors opened right after, revealing the captain. She quietly walked to the front, her silky black hair flowing behind her as she gone up to the pedistal while the newbies gawked at her.
Miyako was seated next to hoshina, she was invited to welcome the newcomers by the captain as it wasn't frequent that a platoon leader such as herself would attend these kinds of events. She looked around and saw some familiar faces, looking at ichikawa more than the others as half of her waited for him to look back. The captain made her way up to the stage as everyone focused on her figure.
"The ceremony will commence."
As soon as those words left okonogi's mouth, everybody straightened their posture. "Top accepted applicant, Kikoru Shinomiya" "Yes!" Kikoru made her way up to the stage and stood in front of the captain, a smile plastered on her face as captain ashiro read the paper out loud. "As of today, the 27 of you are here by members of the defense force." She said, extending her arms to kikoru for her to take the baton in continuing the ceremony. Kikoru took the paper from the captain's hands as she took a step back and saluted to her. "On behalf of all 27 of us, I solemnly swear to lay my life down and fight." The young girl said as everyone's eyes were on her.

"You helped us greatly with the incident after the exams. Thanks to you, there were no victims. I thank you once again." The captain gave credit to shinomiya as the young girl's eyes widen in shock and then looked down, as if it wasn't her..? A moment of silence engulfed the room as loud clacking noises suddenly grew closer.
