Chapter 3: I spy a cheater? Pt.1

El Ranchero

Marina's P.O.V.

I was so nervous being with a hot guy in my car. I had to admit he was very handsome and sexy. A part of me wanted to just jump him but than I felt sad. I had to think for a moment he's taken. On the other hand I didn't care the thought of having Natsu thrilled me and chasing him would be fun. I was already having a small crush on him but I'd rather take it to the grave than tell him right now. Parking in front of the restaurant I woke him up. He was snoring loudly leaning his head on the window.

"Mmm... what time is it? I'm hungry." Natsu spoke in a groggy voice making my cheeks turn pink. The deepness of it I wasn't expecting that at all. I swallowed my words and responded opening the door. "It's six silly! Come on let's go inside." I gestured him to come along with me. He followed and I saw one of my other girls there with her man. "Nina!" I called out to her hugging her. "Eeek! Marina! Hi! It's been so long! Who are you here with? Did you get a boyfriend yet?!" I nodded hugging the pinkette's arm tightly.

"Yeah! This is Natsu! Natsu this is Nina! We went to Highschool together! He's my boyfriend it was love at first sight!" I sighed dreamily, clutching him to me. "Wait a second! I'm n—!" I cut him off kissing his cheek. His smile twitched but he replied. "It's nice to meet you Marina's friend! Is that guy your partner?" He pointed to the quiet guy looking at the casement.

"Yes! That's Randy he doesn't like socializing with people. He's more reserved but I promise he's nice once you get to know him!" Nina explained to us. "We're actually planning to get married soon but I'm more focused on my career as a therapist."

"That's wonderful! Look at you helping others! You were always that way! Well we don't wanna keep but we must catch up!" I smiled waving goodbye to her. "Yes yes! Enjoy your date!" She said blowing us kisses with her hands.

"She was nice... So we're dating now?" I sat down in the booth and blushed embarrassed. "W-well I-I can see us being a couple but I would like to be your friend first!" I stated glancing at the menu, seeing what they have for after hours special. The nacho supreme looked delicious in my opinion. I also wanted the blue margarita drink.

"I don't know about that but sure we can be friends! It'll be uncomfortable dating someone you just met. I barely know you and you don't know me." Natsu pointed out scrunching his eyebrows. My happy mood deflated what was wrong with me? Suddenly I made the first move and touched his shoulder. "You're right. Thank you for being sweet Natsu. I appreciate that." I smiled and he grins at me. "I just wanted you to consider my feelings. I do have somebody so you and I are just friends... If I was—"

"Hello! I'm Charles. Welcome to El Ranchero I'll be your server for tonight. What can I get you both?" The waiter asked pulling out his notepad, and taking the menus. "I'll have the nacho supreme with spinach dip." "I'll get the salted quesadilla with steak and yellow rice with lettuce, tomato, onions and jalapeños!" "Okay. What would you two like to drink?" "The blue margarita!" "Mango fruit passion!"

"Alright! I'll be back with your orders." Charles left to the back in the kitchen and I stared at my companion but he's mine in my head. "So Natsu what's your life like? Since you're off the market and all..." "Well, I have a very exhausting job, a great girlfriend and newborn son!" Natsu smiles making his face dimple in an adorable way. "You're a father?! I mean you look like you could be one. Congratulations!" I fake congratulate not excited for him. "I'm sure being a fireman is tough with those big bulky muscles of yours going through fires and saving people. You're even more sexier up close." I smiled his green eyes connecting with my dark blue ones. I could see a hint of a blush.

"Erm... th-thank you! I like saving others! It makes me feel cool like one of those superheroes!" I laughed at him he was to cute and saw something in his eye. I gently tried to get it out with my nail. Afterward we talked and shared a lot of laughter.

Third Person P.O.V.

"Cana you should've told me we were eating here! I wanted to go to Panda Express!" Levy said frowning and Cana grinned shaking her head. "This is the only spot that serves the best nachos and tacos! Besides Lucy said bring her back some." The two women talked but stopped sitting in the back noticing a certain someone in the same place.

"What the hell is this? Is Natsu cheating on Lucy?! I'll murder him!" The drunk brunette whispered holding up a menu spying on him and the other woman. "I'm not sure maybe we're misunderstanding...? Do they know each other?" The bluenette questioned feeling bad for her best friend. She wanted to text her the details but she couldn't do it. It would've done more harm than good.

"Look at him all his damn teeth showing while she's all hehehe giggling he's not even that damn funny! This is why alcohol is the only man I need because of shit like this. There's no way a girl like that could be just friends with Natsu! Oh look now she's wiping something off his lip! This trifling bitch!"

"If that was Gajeel... I would be heartbroken so I agree! He needs to be put in his place honestly. This behavior will not be tolerated. Poor Lu-Chan... Do we tell her?" Levy suggests and Cana shakes her head. "We'll wait a while but let's keep an eye on them. Operation I spy a cheater is now in action! Are you with me? We should get Mira in on this too!"

"Let's do it! For Lu-Chan!" They both shook hands and continued to watch them like a hawk alerting the mother of the girls group the situation. The Dragneel wasn't getting away with this one. They were going to have revenge for their blonde friend.
