Chapter 17: Iggy's birthday!

Natsu's P.O.V.

I was kinda down after that talk more or less trying to accept it. I sighed seeing Lisanna cry in my arms was horrible. No woman should shed tears in front of a man or feel rejected but I couldn't hurt my girlfriend. I messed up before I'm not going back. Entering my workplace I was up early today. Minus sluggishly taking care of my pregnant girl who was getting bigger than I thought. I wanted to know the gender but she wouldn't spill! It was my baby too the nerve! "Dragneel you got a class to teach stay focused!" The boss walked by and I saluted him. "Yeah. Boss! Leave it to me!" I told him and many people came in through the doorway of the gym.

"Welcome! Today we're going to start off with basic exercises! Do you guys want some music? If not, it's gonna be a productive day!" I said with much enthusiasm and instructed, them all to do twenty-five sit-ups each series and started the lesson. I setup the tv so they can follow along and me as well. I was doing okay for my first day.

"Coach Dragneel?" The woman called out to me and I went over to her. "What's up? Once you're done with the first set do twenty-five again and follow along with the instructions video! There will be breaks in between!" "My mat is dirty can I get another one?" A student asked me and I nodded running into the equipment closet to bring out a clean one. I wouldn't want to use dingy mats either.

"Thank you! Do you have a girlfriend?" "I would like to not discuss my person life during work hours." I smiled and the other women giggle and squeal amongst themselves. I looked around there were hardly any males mainly a bunch of girls which I wasn't looking forward to but I would keep it professional. "Oh, okay! I was only teasing! You're hot just wanted to let you know~!"

"Okay! Let's get fired up for the next exercise which will make you feel tightness in your lower abdomen and next we will do aerobics!" I switched the video and let them do what I did, where we stand with our feet apart shoulders square and placed the hands on top of each other to bring them down to the knee and lift the leg bending it a little bit. They did well and I was exhausted.

"Lu-Chan this is so cute! Look at all the little plushies and toys!" Levy squeals along with Mira and the girls as they set up Iggy's birthday party. "Thank you! I'm a little tired from getting dressed but yes! I chose a dragon theme for his special day!" The mother exclaimed with a bright smile. "You make me wanna have a baby Lucy! You and Natsu are so cute!!" The white haired woman giggled, and Cana laid on the couch drinking her margarita. "Where is the father of the year anyway?" The brunette asked wiping her mouth. "He's at work. He won't be home till this afternoon." "He's gonna miss the party?!" Cana shouted in shock and Erza ate her strawberry cake while drinking her tea listening in. "Juvia worked her English and thinks it's a lovely day for a birth party! Well a bit..."

"Flame-ass should've called out. Does he even know what today is?" Gray helped with the streamers and banter using the ladder. "I doubt it Salamander's an idiot." "And gay too." Laxus pointed out laughing.

"No he is not!" Lucy huffed and the guys laugh entertained joking around. Iggy was watching Tom and Jerry his favorite show, dressed in his dragon shirt, shorts and little socks. He clapped excitedly seeing the mouse run from the cat.

"How old will the little guy be turning today?"

"He's one years old! I feel like I'm going to cry!" The blonde bursted into tears, the mood swings getting to her. She breathed resting her hand to her stomach. She needed to sit and relax. "Are you okay?" The ink haired male stared at her stepping down to the floor. Immediately being trampled by his wife. "Y-yes. I'm fine. I'm just not use to this much kicking!" "Lucy what is the gender or sex of the baby if I may ask?" Jellal spoke next to Erza.

"W-well I was hoping to keep it a secret... but since you all aren't Natsu it's a girl!" The brown eyed female smiled softly. "We are happy to congratulate you." "Hopefully she won't be as dumb as her father." "Knock it off!" "Yes ma'am!"

"I feel bad if we start it now. Who are all these random people?" The blonde questioned and Juvia smiles kindly putting the gifts on the table outside. "These are all the neighbors with children of their own. It seemed like a good thought!"

"Aww, thank you, Juvia! Welcome all please wipe your feet on the carpet before coming in!" Lucy shouted and a lot of people got up to do so. One lady argued with her husband about decency.

"Dragneel going somewhere?" The boss questioned Natsu seeing as he's leaving for the day. The pink haired man stopped midway adjusting his duffel bag over his shoulder. "Boss I gotta get home! My son's birthday's today. I'm already running late and I have to get a gift which I forgot to do!"

"Why didn't you say so? I got a little girl too! Me and my wife will be happy to attend!"

"But I didn't i—!"

"Nonsense! Let's get going and you get outta here I'll see you when we arrive."

"Okay." Natsu grumbled mainly wanting the party to just be for him Lucy and Igneel not his boss and everyone else. He hopped into his car, driving to the toy store to pick up his gifts. He was trying to beat traffic but it seems he had to wait.

"I'm here! Sorry it was a busy day today! I'm really tired but I'll sleep later! Where's Iggy?" The father asked the mother and she pointed to him playing with the streamers. He was a happy baby. "Hey, little man! It's your first birthday! Who the hell are all these people?" "Everybody in the neighborhood with kids!" Lucy explained to her boyfriend, who shrugged but saw someone taking their lamp.

"Hey! Put my lamp back that is not for sale!"

"Your lights work man!!"

"Yay! I bought him a present too!" Wendy and Igneel with Grandine entered the house. Natsu's folks sat down and everyone was noisy. Meanwhile the males were helping with the food and punch refreshments.

"Natsu come on! Let's take a picture!" The blonde yelled at him and sits in her chair. He threw the bastard out and slammed the door holding his lamp. The birthday boy clapped as if he's cheering. The cake was served and they helped the child blow his candle out. Natsu's boss arrived and he never felt more embarrassed, after beating up somebody.

The party lasted until five and all the guests went home. They played games, danced to kid friendly songs, puppet shows and took pictures of course Natsu slipped up and played an adult song by accident. Afterwards the red head gave him the most vicious beat down of the century. It was one birthday bash that will never be forgotten.
