Virendra slowly regained consciousness, his head throbbing as he blinked against the harsh light. Confusion clouded his mind as he tried to piece together what had happened and how he ended up in this unfamiliar place. Suddenly, a vivid flashback hit him like a ton of bricks, revealing glimpses of betrayal and an ambush that had left him wounded and vulnerable.

With effort, Virendra attempted to sit up, but before he could fully rise, a sharp, authoritative voice cut through the haze. "Don't you dare move an inch!" The voice belonged to Riddhi, whose presence filled the room with an air of both concern and sternness.

Startled, Virendra turned his head to the left, his eyes meeting those of a striking woman with chocolate-brown skin, dressed in traditional attire that highlighted her graceful features. A meticulously placed black bindi adorned her forehead, accentuating her intense, fish-shaped eyes that now simmered with a mix of anger and worry.

Virendra couldn't help but notice how beautiful she was. In his world, where power and strength were important, he rarely met someone who was so graceful and kind. Despite his pain, he felt something new inside him-a mix of admiration and a warm feeling he wasn't used to.

"Where... where am I?" Virendra managed to croak out, his voice rough from disuse and pain.

"You're in the hospital," Riddhi replied gently, her voice soothing yet firm. "You were brought in unconscious. Do you remember what happened?"

Images flashed before Virendra's eyes-the dark figures, the sudden attack, and then nothing but darkness. "I... I was ambushed," he muttered, frustration and confusion evident in his tone.

Riddhi nodded understandingly. "It's okay. You're safe now. You had some injuries, but we're taking care of you."

As Riddhi began to redress his wounds, Virendra couldn't help but notice the tender care she exhibited. Her touch was gentle yet assured, and with each movement, she applied the medicine with precision and care. It was a stark contrast to his usual experiences; in his world, injuries were often ignored or tended to with rough efficiency, devoid of any semblance of compassion.

The sensation of her hands on his skin and the warmth of her presence left Virendra spellbound. He found himself marveling not just at her physical beauty but at the depth of kindness and empathy she exuded—a quality he had rarely encountered in his tumultuous life.

As Riddhi worked, Virendra's thoughts raced. He couldn't deny the impact she had on him, stirring emotions he had long suppressed beneath layers of steel and resolve. For the first time, he felt a sense of vulnerability—not from his physical wounds, but from the unexpected connection he felt with this woman who had entered his life under such dire circumstances.

Riddhi glanced up briefly, catching Virendra staring at her with an intensity that took her aback. His gaze held a mixture of awe and something deeper—a vulnerability that touched her heart in ways she couldn't explain. Despite his formidable presence and the rumors that surrounded him, she saw a glimpse of humanity beneath the layers of his persona.

"You're going to be alright," Riddhi assured him softly, her voice breaking through his reverie. "Just rest now. You need to regain your strength."

Virendra nodded, his mind swirling with fragmented memories of the ambush. As Riddhi worked, he couldn't help but admire her beauty and the care she showed him. It was a new experience for him, someone looking after him with such compassion.

As he drifted back into a restless sleep, Virendra couldn't shake the feeling that his encounter with Riddhi was more than just a chance. It was a moment that would change both their lives in ways they couldn't yet imagine.
