A man walked into a house, the darkness enveloping him as a grin turned on his lips. He breathed heavily, walking across the wooden floor. He had been let out—and now, here he was, back where he originally was before he had been taken away.
He exhaled shakily, and made his way toward the bathroom.
He opened the door with a creak—as he opened it, his reflection greeted him in the mirror, smiling back in return.
"..ahaah.."
He chuckled—letting his blades escape from his hand and slide together.
This time, he wouldn't be taken away. And he would get what he wanted.

A paper fell onto the desk as John and Jack sat with slightly puzzled expressions, looking down upon it. John arched a brow and the man sitting before them gave a chuckle as his lips forced themself upward into a grin. For a moment, there was only silence.
The man then spoke. "What have you been doing?!" He yelled, his voice rising in volume.
John flinched, and quickly spoke back, "You know two officers can't possibly—"
"More excuses?! Ugh.." The man groaned.
He then leaned his arm foward, pressing a red button upon the black telephone booth. "You can let her in."
He then leaned back in his chair, lifting up his head as he stared at the front doors. For a few minutes in uncomfortable silence, they waited, and then doors slowly came open with a creak.
A blonde headed woman's head slowly peeked in. It was only tne local mortician within the towns hospital, Patricia Azure.
She sighed. "Uh.. hi. What do you need me for, Mayor?"
"Can you inform them of whats been goin' on with this guy?" He asked with a forced grin still.
"..there have been approximately eight deaths," She explained as she stepped foward. "With all of them dismembered."
Patricia rolled her eyes, speaking in a deadpan voice. "Good job, guyssss.. keep up the good work."
"..is that.. sarcasm?" Jack asked.
John and Patty glanced in his direction, frowns curling on their lips.
Jack stammered, "Wh—What?"
"Ugh.." The mayor sighed again, slowly standing up from his seat as he walked over to the window that showed the outside. "..every Halloween, he kills more people."
"It's hard to know what it's real, and what is not." He sighed. "No one knows if someone got killed, or if it's just a show."
He then sharply turned with a raise of his voice, pointing his finger over to two men in uniforms, "If you don't catch him tonight, you will be replaced by them!"
John glanced over to the two men he was pointing at. One of them waved with a slightly unhinged grin, while the other only gave a smug stare as he lowered his glasses.
"..ugh.. look—mayor." John spoke, "Somethings been going on in the town. There's a cult going around and—"
"Blah, blah, blah." The mayor growled with a roll of his eyes, "I don't care about your imaginary cult, John!"
"They burned down my house!" John protested.
"Your house—" The mayor yelled, "—is a fire hazard! You always keep the coffee maker on!"
The mayor groaned. "..I need you to solve this tonight. Now leave! Get out of my sight."
