𝔸𝕊 the camp burned fiercely in the background, casting an eerie orange glow over the faces of those gathered, a sense of urgency and determination gripped them all.

"Come on," Lilith urged Joel from the other side of the fence, her voice a mix of encouragement and urgency. Despite the chaos and danger, she couldn't help but admire Joel's bravery as he stood his ground.

"No. I have to go back. For the others," Joel replied solemnly, his gaze fixed on her and the brothers.

Lilith smiled softly, though her concern was evident. "You're very brave," she acknowledged, knowing the risks Joel faced in returning to the chaos.

Joel nodded resolutely. "And to watch the place burn. You go. Save your uncle," he insisted, his voice steady despite the turmoil around them.

Lilith nodded in understanding, her eyes briefly meeting Wednesday's. He kissed her forehead gently, a silent reassurance passing between them before he gestured for her to go with Pugsley towards the camp van.

"Wednesday, I just wanted to say that what you and Lilith have is so strong and unbreakable, and I can tell that you and her love one another so deeply," Joel spoke earnestly, breaking the tension with a moment of heartfelt honesty.

In Wednesday's mind, the affirmation resonated deeply. "Oh, yes. I love her, flaws and all. She is the moon of my life," he thought quietly, a rare sentiment for the typically stoic young man.

Joel continued, his tone sheepish yet sincere. "I want to say that I am sorry for trying to flirt with Lilith, even though I have to admit, she is beautiful. But I won't get in between you two, and I hope you and I can become friends," he added, hoping to mend any rift his past actions might have caused.

Wednesday regarded Joel thoughtfully for a moment before nodding curtly. "Sure," he replied simply, his manner reserved but accepting. Joel's genuine attempt at reconciliation was enough to appease him.

"I won't forget you guys," Joel said earnestly, a smile tugging at his lips despite the seriousness of their situation.

"You won't?" Wednesday asked, his curiosity piqued by Joel's assurance.

Joel responded with a genuine smile. "Of course not. You guys are too weird," he remarked with a hint of fondness, a testament to the unique bond they had formed.
