The Secrets in the Shadows

Chapter 7

Lightningclaw's P.O.V

Amberfeather had just began to fight Raven. Raven leapt out of the of the cave and Amberfeather when after him. I looked over at Spottedwish. She nodded. I nodded back and kicked upward knocking off the cat on top of me. I clawed their chest and bit their ear and ran up to where Raven had escaped Spottedwish followed. We jumped out and more cats followed but loose dirt started to fall into the hole. Cats started yowling and running until the hole was filled all the way. They were going to come after us sooner or later but we had to find Amberfeather and run. I scented the air and from the left Shadeclan cats were coming but from the right their was a faint scent of Amberfeather.

"Come on Spottedwish we have to go now." She nodded and we ran towards the forest in Windclan territory as cats started to pour out of the Shadeclan cave. I was surprised the Windclan cats couldn't hear what was going on. When we got into the forest I saw Amberfeather laying on the ground with Raven and Ashflight standing over her. She was barely alive. "No." Spottedwish murmured in fear for Amberfeather's life. I was furious Ashflight was going to pay for betraying Thunderclan. I sprinted towards Raven and Darkness. Spottedwish followed and we leapt onto them. The former deputy Ragged was defending Amberfeather. I clawed Raven's back and bit his neck throwing him to the ground. Spottedwish was busy fighting Dark while Ragged was getting Amberfeather to safety.

"Well looks like you were spying on us you traitor! Darkness was right about you. You never had, never have, and never will know where your loyalties lie!" He said as I pinned him down with my paw on his throat.

"I do know where they lie. They don't lie with Shadeclan, Shadowclan, Riverclan or Windclan. They lie with Thunderclan! Where you'll let us go if you want to live." I threatened ready to unsheathe my claws.

"I won't give up that easily. Shadeclan attack!"

I cursed under my breath and saw cats of Shadeclan swarm in. Spottedwish and I leapt into the trees but they followed. I tried leaping to the next branch but a cat clawed my the back of my leg. I fell on the ground and was pinned down by Darkness.

"Ashflight I know you're still in there don't let these cats change your funny, loving, loyal, and strong personality! Please Ashflight don't do it!"

"No Shadeclan is my home and it will be Amberfeather's home too. The clans here are foolish to think they can beat us. Shadeclan is strong and more powerful than Starclan and the we aren't alone. Blazeclan will join us to get back their home." he hissed with a sly smile. I knew exactly what he was doing. He got off of me and he went after Spottedwish while I went for Raven. I heard a sudden yowl coming from the opposite side of the forest. It was Windclan. Ragged had brought them to help us. "Windclan attack!" Stormstar yowled. They ran in behind their leader into battle with Ragged joining their ranks. We could win this. I leaped around the fighting cats and found Raven in the center of the battle. He had just swiped at a swift Windclan warrior who looked like Nettlepaw. She had grown a little bigger but she was slowly loosing to Raven. I growled and lunged for his back fighting beside my former clan-mate. Raven clawed Nettlepaw's neck and shoulder and then threw against a tree. "I can stop all this if you join me and stay loyal to me just like Darkness. You are a storm of fury and frustration in battle you still have a lot to learn about using your emotions in battle."

"Why would I learn from you? You are going to try to destroy the clans I would never join you and that is final you fox-hearted excuse for a leader." I snapped at him ready for him to lunge but he just sat and smirked at me shaking his head, "Fine if you want it to be this way." He was ready to attack but Ragged leaped on top of him clawing his throat down half to his underbelly before pinning him down. "Rag...Ragg.....Ragged! You've betrayed Shadeclan and will never be welcomed here again."
