Chapter 10

Ashflight's P.O.V (for one time only lol)

I ran back into camp and ran to Bramblestar's den. The sun was already starting to set. "Lightningclaw, Bramblestar, and Lionblaze Blazeclan is here early and are going to attack Shadowclan if we want this to end we need to help them!" I growled.
"No! This would be Shadowclan's fight ours will come. For now we need to prepare a lot faster now that they are here earlier."

"But what about the prophecy? We should help the other clans before they actually take over the forest and kill us all!" I snapped.

"No and that is final. We will prepare for our battle and you will not be aloud out of camp without Lightningclaw."

"You can't control what I do and you won't stop me from helping Shadowclan where my sister is over there right now trying to help the Shadowclan cats!"

"Fine go help but don't expect to have a warm welcome from the rest of the clan if you come back." Bramblestar growled.

"I'll go with him and make sure they come back alive. Can I take Raintail, Brackenstorm, and Spottedwish are with me?"

"If you can get them to come with you. I will help our clan prepare. Lionblaze start trying our warriors and have Squirrelflight teach the queens, medicine cats, and elders some battle moves." He nodded and we left too get our team together and Lionblaze went to teach the cats some protective attacks. I went straight to Shadowclan while Lightningclaw got Spottedwish, Raintail, and Brackenstorm. The moon was slowly rising higher into the sky. I got a drink of water before heading towards Shadowclan but when I bent over to get the drink a starry cat came from the water.

"Hello Ashflight."

"Who are you? And why are you here now I need to go help Shadowclan." I snapped in anger.

"I am Firestar former leader of Thunderclan. I am here to warn you about what will happen after the battles between the four clans and Blazeclan and Shadeclan. You and Lightningclaw will-"

"Don't mention it I already know and so does she. I told her."

"Does Amberfeather know?"

"No and she won't until it happens. Now let me go and help the clan in need please."

"You remind me of me when I was alive, young warrior, it is a shame that you have to do this so early in your life."

"Thanks? Nice meeting you Firestar." I said as I got my drink of water and he vanished into the sky. He would be watching me tonight as I fight alongside Shadowclan and my friends. I raced away towards their camp and when I got closer to their camp it felt like a million eyes were staring at me. I shook away the feeling and scented the air. 'They're here already.' I started to run faster to their camp i scented Lightningclaw and her group were close behind and I came to the entrance of the camp with the Shadowclan cats quickly preparing for battle. I saw Amberfeather helping the queens, kits, and elders into their new hidden dens. "Hawkstar we came to help." I said as he approached us.
"Thank Starclan we definitely need your help. Have you scented them yet?" He said worried.
"Sadly yes I have we need to be quick to finish preparing."

"I'll call a clan meeting very shortly after you tell Amberfeather you are here." I nodded and found her putting a young kit into the nursery. I felt the same feeling that I was being watched and saw a pair of glowing eyes from behind the nursery. I would stay as close as I could to this nursery as I could. I promised myself. I nodded to Hawkstar as Amberfeather turned and saw her smile. "Cats of Shadowclan some of the Thunderclan cats have come to help us fight these fox-hearted cats and Amberfeather has told me that they will try to kill us all so we must fight with the same fire just like some of us did against the Dark Forest cats. Everyone get ready for the fight and apprentices stay together and help each other in this fight we can't loose anyone this battle. Anything you would like to add Thunderclan cats?" We all shook our heads no but a different voice echoed in the camp,"I would like to add that you are all foolish to try and attack us and defend your sorry excuse of a clan. I would just like to say thank you Angel and Dark for spying on us you'll be the first ones dead. Blazeclan attack!"

Cats started to leap in all around us and I just swung my paw at a cat who I really shouldn't have. I had clawed Buzzard in the chest, Blazeclan's strongest fighter. "You think you can destroy me foolish Dark. You still have a lot to learn from us since your father is dead."
"Shut up Buzzard you don't know what your talking about. I will never be like my father!" I leaped up and tried to attack his back but he dodged it but I stayed on the ground for a good few seconds. I got up and he charged at me but I swiftly leapt to the side while clawing his flank. He growled and i snarled back at him. I started to sprint towards me. He leaped up and tried to claw my throat but I took a paw-step back but fell down, so I could make him think he really hurt me. "Looks like I will be teaching you a lot before you die here, hmm let me start with how you should claw someone to shreds." He growled. I waited for him to charge. Instead of charging he stood over me. "Here let me show you and you can feel the pain it would have caused me." He raised his paw but he was too slow to claw me. I clawed his underbelly and clawed through his chest. The blood on my paws was dark but I didn't care if it meant it would be one less cat to worry about. "Looks like I taught you a lesson don't mess with the warriors of the forest." I snapped biting his throat just for good measure although it wasn't necessary.

I looked around the battle filled camp and saw Amberfeather defending the elders against a light brown she-cat I leaped on top of her and clawed her flank while running to help the badly wounded Hawkstar. As I tried to leap onto Brave a cat leaped in front of me and pinned me down. It was a grey she-cat with a black stripe like Lightningclaw down her back. "What are you doing Dark you're fighting for the wrong side, aren't you the strongest warrior in Shadeclan?"
"No I'm a strong and loyal Thunderclan warrior and I will not be called Dark any more I'm Ashflight a cat that won't be taken down by the likes of your clan." I growled. I kicked her off of me and ran to claw her flank when I heard Hawkstar yowl, "Shadowclan stop! We surrender." I was shocked. I looked at Amberfeather from across the camp and saw her face was bleeding so I went over and began to try and stop the bleeding. "Thanks Ashflight. What are we supposed to do now? We can't leave the camp without them knowing we are in a different clan."
"We'll figure a way out but for right now we need to gather the Thunderclan cats up and plan then. I'll get Brackenstorm and Raintail."
"I'll get Lightningclaw and Spottedwish but be careful."
While we had been talking Brave had been talking about he would be our new leader and Hawkstar was now the third leader who would be a hunter. Now the last part of his victory speech caught my attention, "Now where are Angel and Darkness? I'll kill them both right now." The she-cat that I had just finished fighting yowled, "Dark is over by the grey tom and brown tabby tom by the nursery." I cursed under my breathe and whispered, "Leap into the fight if you think we need help."
"Thank you Strike. Come forward and fight me like the real warriors you say you are. You too Angel. Rain and Sage tend to Viper's wounds and check if Buzzard is alright too." I don't know why but I had the strangest idea to threaten the so called Brave leader of Blazeclan. I grabbed Buzzard's lifeless body and dragged it up to Brave and threw it close to him, "Your fighter is dead. He and the other mouse-brained fools of Blazeclan could share the same fate even you Brave."
"I like your moxie Dark but I won't back down even if you threaten me. Now where is your sister?" I looked right behind him and saw her ready for us to start the battle right behind him in the group of cats that had formed a circle around us to watch this fight. I smiled and lunged towards the ruthless leader of Blazeclan with Amberfeather behind him ready for a fight.
