The Abyssalwings Meet the Seven Tribes of Pyrrhia

"You got to be joking..." Glory said dumbfounded, it had only been a few months since they rediscovered Pantal, and now they had these dragons to worry about. "And who are you?" Glory asked, taking a few steps forward. Her tail made a small movement as she waited for a reply.

Darkstalker, back in the trees, was already preparing a disc to throw at them. The hivewings had been very hostile, and he wasn't about to let his queen get hurt. Seeing their milky white eyes it was easy to see they were blind. He threw it, aiming for the large female's arm, unaware that he had just attacked a queen, as Maelstrom took a step forward to speak.

Faster than even Deathbringer could have blocked an attack Abyss's lunged his claw forward, catching the throwing disc inches from his mother's arm. "DEATHBRINGER!!" Glory snapped, whirling around to glare at him. "GET DOWN HERE! And put those things away!!" She whirled around to apologize on behalf of her bodyguard but the sound of bending metal cut her off.

Abyss closes his claw arm around the metal-throwing disc squeezing tighter and tighter until it breaks right in half. Picking up the two pieces Abyss threw them, landing right at Deathbringers feet. "My... Name is..." The queen began, her voice old, cracked, and sounded like she hadn't spoken in thousands of years because she hadn't. "Queen Maesltrom..... Of... The Abyssalwings." The queen said, earning Deathbringer a kick in the shins from Glory, now knowing he not only attacked a random individual, but a QUEEN. "And.... I've come... To reintro.... Duce.... My tribe to.... The continent, It has..... Been too..... Long.... Since.... I've spoken.... For brevity..... I.... Will be.... Speaking...... Through.... The young one...." Maelstrom pointed at Spirit, who was shivering slightly from the cold water. "After.... I am.... Done.... Introducing.... We... can speak.... About.... Ignoring... the kidnapping... of your daughter." she turned her head to Moon and Qibli.

"How did you know she was..." Moon started. "Same... jawline." she pointed at Qibli, then at the same familiar trait from Spirit. "And WHY Should we ignore the fact you kidnapped my daughter?" Qibli snarled at her, not caring who she was, she had taken Spirit against her will."

Maelstrom laughed, an uneasy laugh, almost like a croak, since she had never properly laughed above the water. "WHAT is so funny?! How about I kidnap your dragonets and see what you think of it!" Qibli snapped at the new queen in Pyrrhia.

Maelstrom shook her head. "I... do not doubt.... It was painful.... My son," she gestured to the dragon with the crab claw. "Was acting... against my... instructions.... I can assure you... he will be punished... as... for the.... Ignoring..." She pointed right at Deathbringer. "That one.... Attacked me with.... His weapon... I can... easily... have had.... My guards rip... his throat out." Queen Maelstrom coughed suddenly, hacking up some blood onto the sand.

Spirit took over from there, looking at the queen as she conveyed her thoughts. "But I am not here to fight, me and my tribe have been under the water for over two thousand years, we do not want a conflict. We want to be reintroduced to the surface tribes, in the interest of mending fences and crafting a peace treaty. I will forget what your bodyguard did, as for my son kidnapping your daughter, I am open to discussing a proper punishment as long as it is a middle ground between your tribe's forms of punishment and my tribe's forms of punishment. Does that sound reasonable?" Spirit glanced back at the four out of the 6 queens of Pyrrhia, waiting for their response.

Glory gave Deathbringer the coldest death glare she could give him as he opened his mouth to speak. "How about YOU go back and look over the new hatchlings for a day or two," Gloy grabbed Deathbringer by the ear, yanking him hard down to her height. "And IF you are lucky I won't keep you neck deep in quicksand for a month!!" She bellowed, Glory's scales so pitch black from her anger that she would have looked like a nightwing from a distance. "Now get out of here before you do anything that starts a Moon's forsaken WAR!!" Glory hissed, seriously tempted to give him a new venom-battle scar to teach him a proper lesson.
