"I KNOW IT'S not exactly home but I think that it has plenty of character, right? Lots of potential and more space than what we're used to."

Jude shrugged as she leaned against the house's door frame, watching her mother as she opened the windows. She didn't like it - not one bit - but, she held her tongue back. Or at least, tried to.

"It smells weird," The teen scrunched up her face. "Like someone forgot to clean a fishbowl."

Scout waved her hand back, "That'll go away soon enough. We can buy some air fresheners, maybe even some candles. I'm sure that we can find a smell you like. Anything in particular you have in mind?"

"Anything that smells like home."

Raph frowned a nudged the girl, "No seas grosera. Dile algo lindo a tu madre."

"Por qué? Sólo estoy diciendo la verdad." She scoffed, wanting to go back to the car and take the next direct flight to Argentina.

"What are they saying?" JJ leaned into Scout, furrowing her eyebrow at the pair as they whispered back and forth.

"They say they love it." The brunette gave her a tight smile.

"Good. Because it's the closest available home that we could find. It's just down the block for the BAU, shouldn't take longer than a 5 minute walk. And it's being covered by Witness Protection."

Scout nodded, "It's perfect, thank you. We'll have to figure out what to do with that spare room after Raph leaves."

"Oh?" The blonde cocked her head to the side. "You're leaving? I thought you were going to stay with them."

"No, I'd like to but I -"

Jude rolled her eyes, "Apparently, we're not important enough to stay behind with."

"Excuse us," The male cleared his throat as he put a hand on Jude's shoulder, leading her out of the house and closing the door behind them.

He crouched down so that they were at eye level, even though the teen refused to meet his gaze. Shaking his head, he straightened out her jean jacket before tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Mira me."

Jude pursed her lips, "Why should I? You're abandoning us for the bakery. Since when does pan dulce become more important than family?"
