First Love Again | GuangJie

Prologue

  What a lovely morning it is when Huang Junjie was interrupted by a phone rings. It was Zheng Chun Jing his best friend. Huang Junjie hurriedly picks up the phone and answered it.

  “Hey! Junjie are you still sleeping?” The man said on the other phone. Huang Junjie just hums in response.

  “Ya! Wake up! It's your first day of work but you're oversleeping!” Huang Junjie was baffled at his friends word he completely forgot it's his first day of work today! “Shoot! You're right. I'll call you later, bye!” Huang Junjie said. And ends the call. Huang Junjie hurriedly prepared himself and gets ready for work.

  After he's done he quickly goes to the bus station. After a while he finally arrives at their company. “Let's do well today, fighting!” Huang Junjie said to himself.

  He takes the lift up to the 12th floor. Once he arrived he takes a bow and greets his co-workers. All of his co-workers smiled at him and then continues doing their work.

  A young woman as tall as him greets Huang Junjie with a smile and speaks up, “Are you Mr. Huang Junjie?” Huang Junjie nods in response. “This way please” The woman said.

  Huang Junjie simply followed the woman to the directors office. After the woman greets the director she immediately leaves and bowed to the two of them. Huang Junjie also bowed to the woman.

  “Aren't you going to pay some respect to me too?” The director said. Huang Junjie was dumbfounded and quickly bowed his head to the director. “Good day sir, I'm Huang Junjie. Nice to meet you”

  The director only stares at him. It made Huang Junjie a little bit uncomfortable as the atmosphere slowly turning cold. “Your greeting made it sound like we only met today” The director finally spoke up.

  Huang Junjie was confused by what the director said. “Many years have passed but you're still the same” The director spoke up once again. “Do I know you somehow sir?” Huang Junjie asked in confusion.

  When Huang Junjie looked at the director, Xia Zhiguang looked hurt, Huang Junjie felt guilty and he didn't know why, he also still didn't know what the director mean and why's the director acting this way.

  “Nevermind. I'm Xia Zhiguang your boss. And from now on I will rely on to you the most, I'll be looking forward on how you work Mr. Huang Junjie” The director, Xia Zhiguang said.

  Before Huang Junjie could say his word. The director cuts him off. “You may leave now, see you later” Huang Junjie bowed and leaves from there.

  After he leaves the woman from before greets him again. “Hi! I'm Lu Meng Lin, the woman from before” The woman said. “How was the interview with the director? Is it okay? The director's kind of strict so bare with him Huang Junjie” This woman sure does a lot of talking, Huang Junjie thought in his mind.

  “It was okay” Huang Junjie respond. “That's great! Usually the director isn't like this. You must be special” Lu Meng Lin winked. Huang Junjie chuckled uncomfortably. “Let's do our best together Junjie, fighting!” She said. “Uh ye-yeah. Fighting!” Huang Junjie respond.

  “So you're a person who doesn't talk too much right?“ Lu Meng Lin break the silence between them. Huang Junjie just nodded at the question. “So, let me show you around so that you would get familiar here” Huang Junjie nodded again and simply followed her. Lu Meng Lin introduced Huang Junjie the different branches at their company. She also introduced the co-workers to Huang Junjie. Huang Junjie listens carefully and takes note of this so that he won't get lost in case.

  It was afternoon and the director asked if Huang Junjie could come to his office. And Huang Junjie hurriedly goes to the directors office as asked. Once Huang Junjie arrived at the front door he knocked three times before entering. “Come in” As he heard Xia Zhiguang's signal, he entered the office carefully not making any sound. “You asked for me sir?” Huang Junjie asked. Xia Zhiguang just gaze backed at Huang Junjie for a while, this made Huang Junjie uncomfortable again. Then Xia Zhiguang finally spoke up, “Make me a coffee. I don't want my coffee to be bitter, I want it to be sweet. Don't add any syrup just sugar. And I want to you to be here at exactly twenty minutes, you got that? If your work won't be precise as I tell it to be then get ready to pack your things” This words mark on Huang Junjie's mind. What if he can't make it as precise as what the director said it to be? Will he get fired at the first day of his job? No, you can do this Junjie that request was too simple. Huang Junjie cried inside while thinking about all of this. But he simply nodded at the request of the director, Xia Zhiguang.

  “You may leave” Said Xia Zhiguang. Then Huang Junjie leaved there to make a coffee. He remembered what Lu Meng Lin told her before where the director want his coffee to be done. He checks his note and goes from there. When he got there he immediately makes the coffee for the director. You can do this Huang Junjie, he thought again to himself. After he's done making the coffee, he goes back to the directors office. When walking along from there he bumped into a co-worker then the coffee spilled at his coat. Huang Junjie simply cried inside didn't know what to do.

  The concerned co-worker asked Huang Junjie, “Are you okay?” Huang Junjie looks back at the man who he bumped earlier. He shakes his head. Then the man helped Huang Junjie to stand “I'm really sorry. It must've hurt, should we clean that up before you go back to your work?” The man was slightly taller than Huang Junjie, his head was only at the chin of the man.
“Oh sorry. I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm Liu Xiao Bei” The man still holding onto the arm of Huang Junjie. “Ah no it's ok—” Before Huang Junjie could said his words another man pulled his arm away from Liu Xiao Bei. And he can't believe his eyes, it was the director himself.

Ahh! I can't believe everyone I made it this far. 1,000 words at only the prologue. I hope I can continue this story of mine. But I still have a lot of responsibilities and I think I can't update this story everyday unfortunately! :(
