...

A mass explosion shot into the sky, smoke choked the air. Car alarms, building alarms, and screams of terror were let out people ran to take cover. Heroes were quick to report onto the scene as well as police, someone was behind this and they needed to be put to a stop.

"Help me please!"

"I'm trapped!"

"Help!"

Screams of desperation were let out, pleading for the help of the heroes who were doing their best to help as many people as they could. The explosion was massive, it took out an entire super market and damaged the surrounding buildings. Fires were ablaze all around, suffocating the air even more.
Rubble was lifted ton by ton, revealing the trapped civilians beneath who were relieved to see light of day again, even if that light was clouded by the smoke and illuminated by the fire.
But as time continued on, heroes were able to successfully rescue most of the survivors from the rubble and get them to hospitals safely.  Though, in the process...
They recovered many dead bodies.

"Just what caused this...?"
A police officer asked, inspecting the blood stained rubble with a detective.
The detective sighed after taking a drawn breath, his eyes a blood shot red, beard stubble growing in his face, evident of the stress of the work he was facing.
"It's hard to tell. The explosion left behind no evidence. But...
With all the cases of all these crimes with no evidence being left behind, I think it's easy to say it's the same culprit." He replied, shaking his head in annoyance.
"How can you be so sure, detective Tsukauchi? How do we know they're connected?"

"I'm not. I'm only suspecting they're connected. All these crimes happen around the same time everyday or once every other day. Whoever this is, follows a schedule. But with how random each crime they commit is, it's difficult to tell where they'll strike next. I can't understand how they manage to pull off crimes this big and still leave no traces."
Tsukauchi replied, walking away. The clinking sound of crushed debris under his feet sounded as he made his way down the pile, he was clearly annoyed.
He looked to the sky and pulled out his walkie talkie,
"any signs from up there, Hawks?"
He asked.

"Nope. No one suspicious, no one making a get away, nothing at all. This explosion had to have been timed because I don't know how else the suspect would have been able to get away so fast without me noticing"
The red winged pro hero replied, his eyes glued to the scene.
He had been the first to make it to the scene after seeing the explosion from the distance, and even then he was unable to spot anyone to blame for the incident.

"expected. Whoever this is, they're becoming a growing threat by day."

In the distance stood a cloaked figure who stared on with a pair of binoculars.
"Ha! A kill streak!"

The heroes sat all together in a massive conference room. They spoke among themselves as they waited for the meeting to begin, all they were waiting for was the detective who had called this meeting to begin with.
He entered the room, all eyes landed on him as he held a stack of a bunch of files in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other.

"Hello everyone. Ive gathered you all here today to discuss the growing threat that is this unidentifiable villain."
Tsukauchi began.
The heroes nodded their heads, watching him sit down and pull out a bunch of pictures from one of the files.
Each picture was of an incident that had happened within the last 6 months.
Individually these incidents looked to have no connections at all, the heroes were a bit confused as to just what they were supposed to be thinking.

"For the last 6 months, incidents like these have been popping up. Whether it be a murder, kidnappings, arson, or explosions, these have all happened around 3-4pm everyday to every other day.
Murder usually doesn't go unsolved for such a long time, especially when we have some of the top detectives working on it, but whoever has committed these murders as well as all these crimes have been able to do so without leaving a single trace of evidence. No hair, fingerprints, camera footage, nothing.
This has lead me to believe that the same person is behind it, despite the fact that there is nothing else connecting all of these crimes besides what I've just explained.
The reason I called for this meeting is so we can discuss just what we are supposed to do about this growing threat in Japan. "
Tsukauchi explained, pausing to allow himself a sip of coffee while also giving them time to process just what he said.
