______________________________________Everyone was standing at the Crematory wearing white clothes where Sugandha Ji's body was being burnt. Sana was looking there blankly while tears were continuously flowing from her eyes remembering her last conversation with her grandmother. She never expected that she would leave her so early.
Suddenly she felt that someone held her hand protectively. She looked beside and saw Sid who was continuously consoling her and giving her strength. Sana looked at him helplessly while he nodded his head negatively indicating her not to cry.
"I think we should go now." Said Navjot Ji coming to Sana.
Seeing him, Sid left Sana's hand.
"May her soul rest in peace." Said Priya Ji looking towards the fire.
Sana's blood boiled seeing their fake grief but she somehow controlled her anger and went with them.
At Home...
"Sana listen to me. I really think you should come back home. Yaaha Mumbai mein ab kuch nahi bacha." Said Navjot Ji trying to make Sana understand.
"Mr. Gill it's my final decision. I'm not going back to Mohali. Mujhe yaheen pe job karni aur yaheen pe settle hona hai." Said Sana coldly.
"Lekin tumhari Nani ab nahi rahi. Naa hi Jay ke parents hai. Tumhe sambhalne wala, tumhe sahi se guide karne wala yaaha koi nahi hai. And we all know that you can't handle yourself alone. It will be better if you come with us. Tell her Priya, am I wrong?"
Priya Ji gave a forceful smile and said unwillingly, "Of course you are not. And Sana, sweetheart, we are really missing you a lot."
Sana sighed and said, "See, I'm already very disturbed right now. Isliye please apna yeh drama apne paas rakhiye..... Mrs. Gill."
"Sana!" Yelled Navjot Ji. "Don't forget she is your Mom. You can't talk to her like this."
"She is not my Mom so I definitely can." Said Sana angrily. "Aur rahi baat khud ko handle karne ki toh woh main ab shikh chuki hoon. Mujhe aap dono ki zaroorat nahi hai. Yaaha pe meri care karne wale bohut log hai. So you guys just mind your own business and leave me alone."
Saying that loudly, Sana left from there while crying.
"Sana meri baat sun....."
Jay tried to stop her but she didn't.
"See how she talked to us?" Said Navjot Ji looking at Jay. "Mujhe laga tha yeh badal gayi hai par nahi. Yeh woh hi ziddi Sana hai. I can't take risk of leaving her here."
Jay nodded and said, "Uncle I can understand your feelings. But trust me, Sana is not the same anymore. Woh khush hai yaaha. Aur main hoon na usse sambhal ne ke liye? Dadi ko humne abhi abhi khoya hai. Aise waqt mein agar aap usse yaaha se leke jaayenge toh yeh uske liye accha nahi hoga. Let her stay here, please Uncle."
Navjot Ji nodded in yes and said, "Agar tum keh rahe ho toh thik hai. I trust you. Hum ek hafte baad wapas chale jaayenge. Sana chahe toh yaaha reh sakti hai."
Jay gave a slight smile and said, "Thanks Uncle."
Meanwhile...
Sana came outside the apartment and started crying pressing her own mouth with her hand. She was feeling suffocated inside as her so called parents were there. Those people who never cared for her were now trying to show fake care and sympathy. She didn't need that, she didn't need them. After her mother it was her grandmother who showed her the elderly affection. And now she too left her. She was feeling completely alone.
