Chapter 24: Ray Of Hope

Sid was running at the place, looking here and there to find his Sana when suddenly she came in front of him. She was holding a wild flower in her hand.

Sid felt like he got his breath back after seeing her.

"Kya hua? Teri shakal ke bada kyu baje hai?" Asked Sana laughing seeing Sid's face.

"Tu kaha chali gayi thi mujhe chhor ke?" Asked Sid in sign language.

"Arrey main toh yeh flower lene gayi thi. Dekh kitna pyaara hai." Said Sana showing him the flower. "Tujhe kya laga? Main tujhe humesha ke liye chhor ke...."

Before she could complete, Sid kept his hand on her mouth and nodded in no indicating her not to say it.

Then he removed his hand and hugged her tightly to which she smiled.

"Accha I'm sorry. Aage se main tujhe baataye bina kahi nahi jaaungi. I promise." Said Sana rubbing Sid's back.

Sid felt relieved hearing that. He kissed Sana's head and broke the hug.

Breaking the hug, Sana gave the flowers to Sid and he took it. Then she turned around and put her hair aside. Sid understood what Sana was asking him to do.

He slowly tucked the flower behind her ear making her smile. The she again turned to him.

"Kaisi lag rahi hoon?" She asked to which Sid made a circle with his index finger and thumb, lifting up his other three fingers.

Then Sana held Sid's hands lovingly and said, "Paata hai Sid, tu na bekar mein darta hai. Agar main kuch waqt ke liye tere nazron se gayab ho bhi jaau, toh kya hua? Mujhe wapas laut ke toh tere paas hi aana hai. Kyu ki mera sab kuch tujh mein hai. Main tere bina reh hi nahi sakti. Itna pagalo wala pyaar kar baithi hoon tujhse."

She left his hands and stood at the cliff.

"I LOVE YOU SIIIIDDDD!" Screamed Sana and her voice echoed making both Sid and Sana smile.

She took a deep breath and again screamed, "MAIN HUMESHA TERE SAATH RAHUNGIIIIIIII!"

Her voice echoed again.

"I...... LOVE..... YOUUUUU!"

The whole place filled with Sana's voice making Sid smile whole-heartedly. He never thought that this much love was written in his destiny.

Sana looked at Sid and said, "Sid tu bhi kar na ai......"

She suddenly stopped saying and his smile also faded away. They both became sad.

"Kaash tu bhi mujhe aise hi I love you bol paata. Kaash apne muh se mera naam le paata." Said Sana in her mind but didn't express it in front of Sid.

She smiled forcefully and said, "Koi baat nahi. Jab tu thik ho jayega na, tab hum dono phir se yaaha aayenge. Aur tab main tujhe 50 baar.... Nahi nahi.... 100 baar I love you bulwaungi."

Saying that she giggled to cheer him up. Sid also tried to laugh but couldn't.

"I think humein wapas jaana chahiye.... Sab dhund rahe honge..."

Saying that, Sana was leaving from there while wiping a drop of tear from the corner of her eyes.

But Sid didn't move and kept standing there like a statue. He was feeling like a loser as he couldn't confess his feelings to her in words. He couldn't even call her by her name. He looked at her retreating figure with teary eyes. He wanted to stop her by calling her name, wanted to say I love you to her. He was feeling suffocated for not being able to say anything. Words started struggling to come out of his mouth.
