Sirius POV:

"Psst Psst," James whispered.

"James stfu," I replied half asleep.

"NEVAAA"

"Get away from me Prongs"

"Get up fatty mcfattykins"

"I need my beauty sleep"

"But the gryffindor quidditch team needs you more"

Eventually James ended up dragging me out of my bed and plopped me on the floor. I gained enough willpower to stand and get changed, then we rushed out of our room and to the quidditch pitch. When we arrived more than half of the team looked dead which makes sense since the sun wasn't even out yet.

"Alright guys this is an important match. We've played slytherin before and we know how dirty they can play. We just have to stay true to ourselves and keep our heads up. All those hours on the quidditch pitch have led up to this moment so let's go out there and prove that gryffindor is #1, not only in our hearts but on the field too!"

"Alright mate, wrap it up, we've got a game to play."

As James finished giving his extremely passionate pep talk, the team members nodded in agreement with determination shining in their eyes. They then turned to the field and began to warm up, getting in some passes and shots to make sure they were well prepared for the game. Sirius, in particular, was focused and intense, his mind set on the game and beating Slytherin.

By the time the sun came up, it was a gray and overcast day with a constant drizzle of rain, making the conditions on the pitch less than ideal. All players were shivering from the cold as they flew into the air, teeth chattering as rain trickled down their faces. Sirius had practiced hitting bludgers and his aim at the targets. He decided to take a break and was watching the teams warm up when he saw Tobias fly over to Remus. He noticed how Remus seemed to brighten up at the sight of Tobias and immediately fall into conversation. Despite the distance between them, Sirius could almost feel the chemistry between them as he watched them interact. He felt a pang of jealousy, but quickly pushed it away, returning his focus to the game.

As the announcer spoke, we all knew it was time for the game to begin. We all started lining up, shaking hands before the match and then returned to our positions in the sky.

"Alright guys, I want a nice and clean match." Madam Hooch declared. She blew her whistle and with that the game began.

It was an intense quidditch match. Gryffindor vs Slytherin. House rivals. The game has turned into a heated competition, and the tension was high, the players all pushing themselves to their limits. The crowd was roaring with their cheers and boos carrying throughout the arena. The match had been going on for about an hour and the score was currently 150-160 with Gryffindor in the lead.

Sirius had a different objective than the rest of the players. His focus had been captured by the Slytheirn seeker, Tobias. He was determined to make this match as difficult as possible for him. Whenever a bludger came near Sirius, he would hit it as hard as he could at Tobias. Sirius was playing dirty.

Sirius's anger was fueled by more than just a rival match. He was frustrated with his best friend, Remus. Sirius couldn't stand the fact Remus was with Tobias and his actions on the field were a manifestation of his jealousy.

Sirius's mind was filled with resentful thoughts of Remus.

How could Remus date him of all people? The Slytherin git. It should be me. Why is he dating him when I'm right here?
