The sky was dark. None of the stars decided to shine tonight. The only thing that helps them see were the lights on the wall beside the pool.
"We're going back inside... See you later." The others said before going back inside of the resort house. The mud on the grass sticking on their slippers, following them inside of the house. Three of the friends watched them leave, their presence leaving their sight. It's just the three of them now.
You would think it would be quiet, but it was far from silent. Their laughter was the one thing that kept their night alive.
"The pool is so quiet now it's just the the three of us..." Kris muttered, his arms wrapped around his body to conceal himself from the cold.
"As if... Mori's laughing is so loud. The others could practically hear us." Karl replied with a scoff with his tone of disbelief.
They all looked at Mori. Silence were between them before grinning ear to ear and laughing loudly.
"But seriously... It feels peaceful." Kris interrupted the laughter. They all agree, nodding with each other.
None of them knew that they made the wrong decision by staying in the pool.
