2. Wanheda

I stare out the window, gun in hand watching.
"It's been 3 hours. What are they waiting for?" Bellamy asks.
"I say we make a run for it." Monty says.
"No. That's what they want us to do." I say. They wouldn't still be waiting if that wasn't the case.
"The boy is right. They can wait longer than we can." Indra says speaking up.

"Okay, Bellamy. You get in the turret and cover us. Once we get to that ridge over there, we'll cover you." Kane says to Bellamy.
"Copy that. Run fast." Bellamy says standing up.

I move to the door getting ready to open it.
"They're here." Bellamy says. I turn quickly to look at him.
"Everybody out or the boy dies." I hear a voice say before pulling Bellamy out.
"Okay! We're coming!" I yell instantly dropping my gun. I nod to everyone as they do the same.
"Don't hurt him!" Kane yells.

I move over to the door placing my knife into my sleeve. I open the door carefully before they fly it open grabbing and throwing us out.

I see Monty run to his mom hugging her. I slide the knife out, turning around and ducking making the one holding me fall to the ground. I hold my knife to his throat.
"Let them go, or I slit your friends throat!" I yell lifting the man up as I press my knee into his back.
"Farm station stand down." The man I'm holding says taking his hood off. I see it's Professor Pike.

I step back letting him go.
"Pike?" I ask as I watch my teacher stand up.
"My best student." He says putting a hand on my shoulder. He walks over to Kane.

I look around and see they hadn't let the rest up.
"He said stand down." I say. They all turn to Pike who nods. I walk over and help Bellamy up.
"You just threatened to kill our teacher." Bellamy says. I laugh softly while thinking. What have we become? I just threatened to kill a man not knowing he was one of us.

"How many of there are you?" Kane asks.
"63. The rest are camped in the mountains north of here. Grounder killers one and all right?" Pike yells. The others yell in agreement. My eyes land on Indra.
"We have to find Clarke." I say not wanting to hear more.
"Clarke Griffin?" Pike asks and I nod.

"Move the tree." Kane says. I nod walking over followed by the rest of the people. We start pushing and get it out of the way.
"Kane, let's go." I say walking to the rover to grab my gun.
"Monty, give them the coordinates to Arkadia."

"Come on, those who are coming, get in." I yell taking my seat. Pike and Monty's mom join us before we take off.

We stop at a trading post and Bellamy and I walk in first holding our guns up. I see a man beating a girl and pull the trigger without hesitation.

The man falls and I run to the girl who cowers away from us.
"Are you okay?" I ask. She doesn't respond.
"Bounty hunter." Indra says staring at the man "We're here to help." Indra says turning her attention to the girl.
"English!" Pike yells. I spin my head around to glare at him. He's in the wrong land to be talking like this.
"Pike go outside." Kane says. "Take Monty and Hannah and search the perimeter." I watch them all walk out before turning to the girl.

"We're looking for Wanheda." I say hoping she can help us.
"So was he." She says in an english.
"Please. She's in danger."
"You're Skaikru?"
"Yeah. She's our friend."
"She was here last night."
"Did she say where she was going?" Kane asks.
"No. She was here when I fell asleep and gone when I woke up."
"Did she give you any indication as to where she might go?"
"No. But he did." She says looking at the man. "He said his partner came back for her. It was Ice Nation. I hope you find her."
"We will. Thank you." I say. She nods.

"Good news. We found fresh tracks." Monty says running in.
"Good. Start the rover." Bellamy says.
"That's the bad news. Too many trees. We have to go on foot." He says. I nod and start walking out.
