Soldiers from the empires of Ragna and Nord rushed here, all of them panting. They need to make it out of here. Those voidborns' magic are causing their teleporters to malfunction, much to their annoyance.
The soldiers fended off some voidborns that showed up using their guns and advanced equipment. A soldier whose named Folg, according to records found some old firecrackers at the basement of one of the houses there. Possibly forgotten by a bunch of Nordian soldiers months ago in celebration of New Year's Eve.
Documents say this is his conversation with the others was like upon finding the firecrackers:
Folg: "Yeah, I'll blast 'em up to the sky, hopefully one of our battleships usually floating around can see us and pick us up."
Officer Obeveklig: "Be careful with that, soldier! Legends say that firecrackers attract voidborns!"
Folg: "But sir! Do we have a choice?"
That was all the details of the conversation the document held. The rest were unknown. But for sure, Folg did manage to blast the firecrackers into the sky. Some soldiers that knew him we interviewed about this said that he did it and ignored Obeveklig's command, some said that the officer merely agreed.
Regardless, Folg blasted them. Once he did it for the first firecracker a battleship began heading our way, he begin blasting the rest to the sky as it grew closer and closer.
Soon the Nordian battleship landed, taking out voidborns nearby, opening the gates. According to eyewitnesses, Folg told the others to get in the ship and said he'll hold the voidborns off, some stayed behind to assist him as the rest of us ran like tired chickens right into the battleship.
Folg was about to get into the ship with the others as well, only for voidborns to swarm him and the others holding off those fools.

"Brave chaps they all were, especially Folg." a soldier stated when I and some of my friends in the Nordian Empire during my time as soldier questioned him about it. "Volg was really stubborn, but that's what I liked about him as my best friend. A determined bastard ready to die no matter how horrific the situation. May he rest in peace along with the people who have been murdered during these times against those Voidborns."
