So yes, I am here right now. Goodness I'm the only one of the Eklaranians who didn't got captive... Ugh, just me, a stupid line infantry. Anyways I- *this entire section, all the way down here is literally wrote in such a messy manner (all the way

here that it was so hard to make out what he was saying).

Goodness, thank Goddess Dezena that I made it out... Ugh I was almost eaten alive by those damned voidborns, dear me... I am currently sitting on top of one of the forts' roof with the Eklarinian Flag on it. I'll take a rest for a while here. Bloody hell, maybe a little nap won't hurt haha. Oh, how I wished that I could hug my sweet fiancee while sleeping right now... Its up to Goddess Dezena to guide her... And I do hope she leads her down a bright path. I long for her embrace once again... Oh Myrta my beloved, I promise you I will fulfill the promise I made to you back in childhood before I left due to being recruited to the army. I will come back for you and we will start a family.

*Some teardrops are stained on the page of the diary*

I just finished my nap and heard noises under the vent here on the roof. Went to check and saw some exhausted folks resting. A bunch of my panicked comrades and Grandeurians, I knew of course they had to cooperate in such a dire situation like this despite being enemies. I would turn my gaze to the sky, our battleships were engaging in combat with one another... Ugh those idiots!

I quickly tried to make contact with the ship, but I remembered that not only teleporters stop working around voidborns, but lines of communication as well. Yet there doesn't seem to be any nearby... for the moment.

Thank the Goddess Dezena herself I was right, I told them what's happening and I managed to convince them, they'll be sending one of their battleships to assist us. I walked over to the vent and told the soldiers that I got the attention of the battleships. One of them will come to pick us all up and I said I will lower the platform for them to get to the ground safely, gotta do it now.

Apparently so err I found the diary of that guy who lowered the platform for us dropped on the floor when I had to lower the winch further for the others. This was the final page from his diary to be exact.

The other pages were his perspectives during the wars us Grandeurians had with them Eklaranian folks. Feel bad for him I must say, poor man misses his fiancee so much. I'll probably give this diary to her, if I have the chance and maybe if this bloodshed ends... If I survive long.

Liam Callum is his name, by the way. Well, as for me who'd be holding this for a while, call me Colin Laflèche, just a Grandeurian line infantry. I must go for now, my comrade Rene keeps bugging me to go see him outside
