Agios, 913

Rene sat on a tent, the Grandeurians, the Ragnarians and Eklaranians have set up camp. Neonia happens to have arrived too, word came from them that Guerrier has fallen.

He closed his diary, he was looking for the torn page of the details of what happened on Flachs here on Konig... But it was gone. Pierre is probably stealing his stuff again. He rolled his eyes and just shook his head as he peaked out the tent. It appears that some soldiers have split away in fear. Only twenty survivors were here.

His train of thoughts were interrupted when someone entered the tent. It was Alexis, he didn't notice Rene at first and took off his gas mask and helmet. Revealing more of his long brown hair and also revealing... A feminine face? Rene almost fell over upon seeing it. "Uh uhhh um... Ermm..." he said awkwardly. Alexis turned his (or her?) head to his direction, her shoulders tensing as her eyes widened. She grunted and walked over to him, grabbing him by the collar, her scared face turning into anger, but let him go after a while as her face softened.

"Look, don't tell anyone... Rene, was it? I had to fight. I want revenge against those voidborns for my husband and daughter's death..." she said sitting back down, after a bir she looked up at him, blinking a few times. Rene did the same, he opened his mouth to speak, "Uhh, yeah. Its Rene. Rene Bastien. Just a twenty-four years old line infantry from Grandeur And its, its alright. I don't have anything against women pretending to be men to fight for their nation, Alexis, if thats your name according to what the other Konigian soldiers call you." he said nodding his head in understanding. "Mind telling me your real name?"

Alexis was silent for a moment, after a while she opened her mouth to speak. "Alice... Alice, yeah. Alice Baumann." she said nodding her head. "Just a twenty-nine years old line infantry."

Indeed, that was what happened. But shortly after that, Rene and Alice parted ways. It is unknown if this was either that she died or just parted ways with him and the others with her fellow Konigians after that day. No records about her life afterwards was shown so she had most likely died.

Another evidence about her death was that according to Pierre, an old friend of Rene he noticed him in a bad mood and heard him sniffing a few times and that Rene had developed a friendship with her in the three days they camped there. But there's a possibility that its the death of Grandeur's goddess, Rosalina which had negatively impacted their morale though.

A village in Ragna has fallen along with a few camps made by lost Grandeur and Eklaranian soldiers who got lost from their unit and met up there, before staying for a while to survive from the voidborns.

They were attacked by voidborns who took them all down with aggressive tactics all in a sudden. They made a last stand to defeat their forces. However when they realized they can't win, they tried to escape but were surrounded from all sides, crushing their morale and hope to escape and defeating them.

About few escaped however. Just four soldiers, they made it to a graveyard behind a church, but then they were all found beheaded by the townsfolk in the town the church was on, and aside from that a dead horse and a dead voidborn was found with them too, the voidborn had used a purple scythe of some sort. One of the townsfolk tried to touch it but ended up being a voidborn, the people alerted the guards who put the poor man out of his misery.

On 913, the voidborns laid siege on Agios. Some soldiers had ran off into an underground base to escape, but it did not take long for the voidborns to find them.

The Grandeurian soldiers fought their way out, some survived and they evacuated the civilians through boats. After they had done, they managed to escape. Only four died and twenty one escaped of all the soldiers. They had escaped and picked up directly by a naval ship from them. Invaincu was its name.

The ship was the most famous ship in Grandeur. It was used by several great emperors of it.

By the time they entered, Quincy Napori III, the current emperor was there. He stated in public that they must desert their nation for now for all of it is now overrun by voidborns.

The survivors had no choice but to abandon it and migrate to Konig for now.
