Say yes to the dress

Annabeth's POV

"Oh my gods I'm so excited," I exclaim.

"Me too, it's not every day my baby sis gets married," Thalia says.

"Yeah, soon you'll be Annabeth Jackson," Piper adds.

I'm getting married soon. I can't believe it. Well, I can. Percy proposed three weeks, 4 days, 36 hours, and 16 seconds ago. Don't judge me I count my stuff. Eeek I'm gonna be Annabeth Jackson in three months!!!!

As we walk into the store, Demigod Bridal I gasp. All the dresses are beautiful. An extra plus is since it's like a demigod store the dressed have secret pockets and hidden places to store a weapon. I know, New Rome has everything.

"Hello, do you ladies have a reservation." A pretty lady with a name tag with Kelli on it asks. Weird, Kelli's the name of the empousa that won't stay dead. Oh well, maybe this is just a regular mortal or demigod or something. No need to let my overactive  Athena brain get in the way of wedding dress shopping.

"Yes, it's under Chase," I answer. 

Kelli seems pretty nice. I'm probably just being paranoid.

"Okay, right this way, ladies." Kelli leads us to a room.

"So, who's the bride to be." She asks.

"Me," I reply.

"Lovely, and I presume the lucky man is Perseus Jackson/"

Okay that's creepy. How does this lady know. I reach into my purse and look for my dagger. Yeah i know i lost in in Tarturus but Bob found it and brought it back.

"How do you know him?"

Kelli chuckles evilly. "I know all my former oponents Annabeth Chase."

Everyone draws a weapon. Kelli's luscious red hair turns to bright red flames. One of her legs becomes a donkey leg, and the other and metal prosthetic. Her eyes become hollow sockets with flames dancing in them. I pull my dagger out from my purse as Kelli lauches herself at me. I use my dagger and stab her. Kelli turns to dust.

"Wow that was ...interesting." Hazel breaks the silence that follows the fight.

"No kidding." I agree.

At that second, a lady in her mid 20's walks into the room. She has blond hair and grey eyes. I wonder if she's a daughter of Athena.

"Hello I'm Leila and I'll be helping you today. Where's Kelli she was supposed to show you guys here?"

"Oh uh she left." I try.

Thalia, Hazel Calypso and Piper back me up.

"Yeah she left and hasn't come back."

"Mhm."

Leila sighs. "Kelli always does that then she comes back a few months later for a job. She needs to be permanantly fired."

"Yeah she does." I mutter.

Behind her is a slightly younger woman with brown hair and green eyes. She looks maybe 19 or so. "I'm Eliana and I am Leila's assistant."

"Now I see that Annabeth Chase is the bride to be."

"Yep that's me."

"Well let's get started." Eliiana pulls out a dress. It is a very ruffled ball gown style dress. Not my sty;e. 

"It has hidden pockets within the ruffles and the heels that g with it have a compartment for a dagger." Leila says.

I try it on.

"It looks nice, but it doesn't seem like you." Piper comments.

"Yeah." Thalia agrees. "I wouldnt e caught dead in that." She shudders. 

I laugh. Thals HATES ruffles.

 The other is nod in agreement.

"Yeah I thought so too." I say.

"That's okay. We still have plenty more dresses." Leila says.

She pulls out another. It's sea blue, but it has too many sequins. I love it but the sequins are a deal breaker.

 "No." I shake my head as I look in the mirror. 

The next dress is too shiny and the next is too much everything. We've been here for almost 2 hours, and everyone is getting tired.

"How about this one? We just got it this morning." Leila exclaims.

She shows me the dress. I gasp.

 It's a Grecian style dress that is sea blue and has a grey border. I try it on and as I look in the mirror, I begin crying.

"You look beautiful." Piper tells me.

"Yes. This it. This is the dress." I exclaim through tears.
