Which cake??

Annabeth's POV

Today is such an exciting day! Percy and I are going cake tasting for our wedding, and I honestly can't wait. I mean, I'm usually the calm, cool, and collected type, but come on, it's not every day you get to pick out your wedding cake!

Percy is adamant about having a blue cake, of course. But I'm thinking maybe a lemon cake with blue fondant would be perfect. I mean, wait, frosting is healthier, right? Ugh, decisions!

"Percy, we are not getting a five-tier cake," I tell him for the hundredth time.

"But think of all the sugar," he says dreamily.

"Exactly! You need to be health-conscious, Seaweed Brain," I retort.

"Come on, Annie, we're 24 and healthy, plus this is our wedding cake. A little sugar won't hurt, right?" he pleads, giving me those irresistible puppy dog eyes.

I groan and facepalm. He knows I can't resist them. This cake tasting adventure is going to be quite the experience!

"Wow, that cake tasting was amazing, Wise Girl," Percy says as we settle into his cozy cabin at camp.

"I agree, babe. But I think you might have had a bit too much sugar," I say, chuckling.

Percy grins. "I'm always high on sugar. Can't help it."

"That's true," I say, smiling at him. "But I still love you."

"Aww, I love you more, Wise Girl," Percy replies, pulling me closer.

"I love you the most, Seaweed Brain," I say, giving him a playful nudge.

Percy pretends to ponder for a moment. "I love you the most-est."

I playfully roll my eyes. "Come on, Percy, that's not a word. I love you infinity times infinity."

"I love you more than you could ever love me. I win," Percy says with a smirk.

I can't help but laugh. "Fine, fine, you win. This time."

"Ha! Good night," Percy says, pulling me into a warm embrace.

"Nighty night, Seaweed Brain," I whisper, feeling safe and loved in his arms.
