the hospital held an eerie aura.

inside lay two best friends, fighting for theirs lives. and a father who couldn't leave his son.

lydia martin was catatonic. her mother signing a one way ticket to eichen house in an attempt to keep lydia safe.

everyone thought sheriff stilinski was going to recover, but something was happening to him. something no doctor could explain.

and reiya dunbar. well nobody knew how she was because nobody could find a pulse.

"nicholas, i'm sorry but i don't know what to do. the machine isn't picking up her pulse but i can't pronounce her dead because her heart is still beating," melissa tried explaining.

ophelia and nicholas were distraught. they couldn't save reiya and now they were paying the price.

"it's her magic!" ryder exclaimed, running into the morgue.

melissa, scott, stiles, parrish, ophelia and nicholas were trying to come up with a plan when the young detective barged in.

"reiya's magic. her body is damaged both spiritually and physically. reiya has generations of magic trapped in her body and it's too much for her to handle. subconsciously she's using that magic to heal her body but by doing that she sent herself into a magical coma," ryder paused as the lights in the room flickered.

"that is a product of her magic. right now she's unstable with no proper control and if she stays in this hospital any longer there will be no more hospital,"

the group looked at each other before parrish spoke up, "so where can we take her?"

"the old family house." nicholas answered.

"wait, we're moving reiya away from the hospital with doctors that can help her to a home with no doctors?" stiles asked.

nicholas nodded. "reiya is not medically sick, she's magically sick. we have a room in the house that can contain any effects of reiya's magical outburst without destroying a whole block,"

the dunbar patriarch left no room for discussion as he began asking melissa for papers to discharge her into his care.

"stiles. go talk to theo, find out what you can and let me know if you need anything," ophelia squeezed the boys shoulder before following her brother.

as nicholas and melissa began walking down the corridors, the former picked up on his sons voice.

"no, there have not been any other bodies brought in tonight, thank god." dr geyer told his step-son
