the next morning reiya was awoken by her phone ringing in her ear. groaning the blonde girl picked her phone up.
"hello" she answered sitting upright in her bed. "hello, is this reiya dunbar?" the voice on the other line asked. "yeah this is she" reiya replied.
"this is beacon hills memorial, we have a nicholas dunbar who insisted we call you" the nurse informed reiya.
the blonde girl almost fell off of her "oh umm yeah i'll be there in fifteen minutes" she ended the call rushing to get ready.
when reiya walked out her bathroom she saw malia sitting on her bed. "rey i need to talk to you" the werecoyote insisted.
"look malia i need to be somewhere right now, you can come along or i'll see you later" reiya suggested grabbing her bag along with her aunts car keys.
"i'll come with you" malia chose and followed reiya to ophelia's light blue '69 chevy camaro. "so what did you want to tell me?" reiya asked as she pulled out of the dunbar driveway onto the road.
"yesterday i was driving theo's car" malia started earning a look from reiya. "i missed the bus" malia added looking out the window.
reiya giggled slightly "it's fine lia, but continue the story"
"anyway i remembered the accident when i was nine. but when i was there this man appeared to theo and i asking about whether we knew you, he was about forty something. theo and i took him to the hospital" malia finished her story.
reiya didn't reply as she tried parking in one of the hospitals parking spots. "come with me and tell me if this is the man you saw" the girl got out of the car and walked towards the hospital entrance.
"hi, i'm looking for -" reiya was cut off by the nurse that called her "follow me" the short nurse lead the two into a small isolated room where the werewolves could hear the ekg beeping.
"melissa wanted to keep him here" the nurse informed leaving the two girls by the door.
malia peered through the small window in the door and caught sight of the man she and theo brought in yesterday. "reiya thats the guy, do you know him?" the brunette girl asked painting at nicholas.
"well i should know him, i have half his dna in me" reiya joked opening the door. malia's eyes widened "that's your dad!" she whisper shouted.
"you couldn't tell by our dashing good looks" nicholas horsely replied a small smirk making its way on his face. malia looked down embarrassed that the dunbar patriarch had heard her.
reiya squealed running towards her father wrapping her arms around him. "you're alive" she exclaimed pulling away.
"i know i saw you yesterday, but you look absolutely beautiful little wolf" nicholas whispered, his eyes brimming with tears.
reiya sniffled "this is my friend malia, she's the one who brought you here" the platinum blonde introduced. malia let out a small "hi" and waved at the older man.
"reiya, i think i'm going to go back home, i'll see you later at scotts house" malia left the two dunbars alone.
"oh dad i have so much to tell you" reiya then started to tell her father about everything that had happened from peter being the alpha to liam being bitten.

"my mom's book club usually has more wine." lydia picked up the book the group was going to read. "ooh we should get wine" reiya suggested getting odd looks from the rest of the pack.
"well, they also probably didn't read books that cause violent hallucinations."
"that's why malia's here. so none of us go running into traffic?" scott told the group as they scattered around the small living room for a place to sit.
"or worse." reiya added with a sinister smirk on her face. "like what happened to judy. chapter 14." malia pointed out.
"maybe I should have my mother read it. she might remember a girl with a tail leaping off the ceiling and attacking everyone." lydia showed the held the book up.
"yeah, if it works." stiles commented, reiya could sense his scepticism on it and she agreed with him. "it has to." lydia interjected.
"what's that mean lyds?" reiya asked walking towards the strawberry blonde.
"i think i saw them during my surgery. when i look at the cover of the book..it's almost like..." lydia trailed off thinking of the word.
"a memory trying to surface." the boy suggested lydia nodded her head. "isn't that what valack wanted when he wrote it?" theo asked looking at the back of the book.
"if they did something to me, i want to know what it is." lydia opened her book to read and everyone else followed suit.
"anyone feel anything yet?" scott asked the group, avery shook her head that was laid against theo's chest.
"tired." "hungry." lydia and kira replied stiles shook reiya's shoulder to see whether she was awake."like i want to gouge my eyeballs out" reiya added dropping the book in her face.
"i think he meant the book." theo said meekly as reiya closed her book. "stiles don't wake me up" she threatened falling asleep on his lap.

the next day reiya had joined mason and brett on the bleachers in front of the field. "what's up with those two?" the male werewolf asked pointing between liam and hayden.
"sixth grade. that's not the best year for liam's anger management issues." mason started, reiya got up from lying on the talbot boys lap.
"there was a..." mason was cut of by reiya who loved telling the story.
"this fight in the hallways. liam and this other guy. hayden sort of accidentally walked into it." the girl explained as mason showed the two's yearbook picture.
"and this is her yearbook photo." mason shared the photo with brett and reiya. "ow. what did she do to him?" brett asked laughing slightly. reiya joined in followed by mason as they looked at liam's yearbook photo.
"does anyone here have asthma? anyone got an inhaler?" reiya heard a kid shout running across the field.
"scott!" liam and reiya said simultaneously. reiya followed her brother to the biology classroom where scott was sitting against the teachers tabel wheezing.
"i've got it... i've got the inhaler." liam exclaimed giving the inhaler to scott. the alpha gasped as liam growled at him to use the inhaler.
after school reiya headed to the hospital to visit her father. but the visit was cut short when she heard that a chimera was in the building.
"stiles...you can't say anything. please, don't say anything." the blonde heard theo pleas as she made her way to the roof.
"why not?" stiles asked as he caught sight of reiya coming towards them. "because I never said anything about donovan." theo whispered causing stiles to lung at the boy.
reiya used her powers to separate the boys. "enough!" she yelled. "both of you have secrets and if we want to get rid of the dread doctors then we need to work together" she threatened both boys lifting them from the ground.
when the two boys agreed to put aside their hatred for each other reiya put them down and kissed stiles lips. "good not let's go to the pack" she walked down the staircase.
