Now unchained and wounded, the professor and Leonard stood face to face with the Ashes boss. The professor's eyes burned with a fierce determination, and his voice resonated with years of pent-up rage and grief. "I will kill you, you bastard!" he screamed, charging toward the boss with Leonard by his side.
Leonard mirrored the professor's movement, running headlong at their foe. Despite their combined efforts, the boss effortlessly evaded every strike, moving with a grace and precision that seemed almost inhuman. Each of their attacks was met with empty air or a swift parry, leaving the two men increasingly frustrated and desperate.
"My students' blood is on your hands!" the professor roared, his voice echoing through the chamber as he unleashed a flurry of attacks. "Every one of them suffered because of you, and I will make you pay for every last drop of their blood!"
The boss's mask hid any expression, but his movements conveyed a cold confidence. He dodged and countered with a fluidity that spoke of extensive combat experience. Despite their best efforts, the professor and Leonard were unable to land a meaningful blow. The intensity of the battle surged as Leonard and the professor fought side by side, their movements synchronized by a shared goal of vengeance and justice.
Meanwhile, Kenji and Argon were locked in a brutal duel. Both men were battered and bruised, their bodies bearing the marks of their fierce combat. Kenji's katanas flashed through the air, striking with lethal precision, while Argon's blade-like limbs parried and countered with relentless aggression. Each clash of their blades sent sparks flying, illuminating the ferocious determination in their eyes.
The Boss with a grin on his face said, "After all these years, you still can't kill me, can you?"
On the other side of the chamber, Falcon and Vilger were engaged in their own intense struggle. Vilger's teleportation ability made him a slippery opponent, appearing and disappearing unpredictably as he struck at Falcon from all angles. Falcon countered with his super speed, his movements a blur as he matched Vilger's rapid assaults with quick, decisive strikes. The two men were evenly matched, neither willing to back down or give an inch.
Amid the hundreds of fallen Ashes gang members, these three epic battles raged on, each combatant fighting with everything they had. The chamber echoed with the sounds of clashing steel, grunts of exertion, and the occasional cry of pain.
Outside the prison, backup from the GHA finally arrived, ready to reinforce their comrades and turn the tide of the battle. However, as they approached the entrance, a mysterious dark shadow emerged from nowhere. Moving with terrifying speed and precision, the shadow took down the GHA operatives in an instant, leaving them incapacitated and the reinforcements thwarted.
Inside the chamber, Kenji and Argon's battle grew even more ferocious. Both men were covered in cuts and bruises, but neither was willing to back down. Their movements were a blur of slashing blades and quick footwork, each strike aimed to kill. As the battle raged on, Kenji's movements began to slow. Argon noticed this, a sinister grin spreading across his face as he started to overpower Kenji.
After a few more fierce clashes, Argon saw his opportunity and thrust his blade-like arm forward, stabbing Kenji in the stomach. Kenji gasped, coughing up blood, and fell to his knees. Argon kicked him away, sending him sprawling across the ground, and laughed maniacally.
"Ha! Is this all the great Detective Kenji has to offer?" Argon taunted, his laughter echoing through the chamber.
As Argon continued to laugh, Kenji began to laugh as well, a low chuckle that grew louder and more unsettling. Argon stopped laughing, his expression shifting to confusion and irritation.
"Why the hell are you laughing?" Argon demanded.
Kenji pushed himself up, his face a mask of determination. He tore his shirt and tied it around his wound, stemming the flow of blood. With a steely resolve, he raised his left hand and dropped the katana he was holding. Now wielding just one katana in his right hand, he rushed at Argon with renewed speed and vigor.
Kenji moved so fast that Argon struggled to keep up, barely able to block the oncoming strikes. "How are you so fast all of a sudden? Didn't I just stab you? Weren't you just coughing blood?" Argon shouted in disbelief, trying to fend off Kenji's relentless assault.
The battle continued, with Kenji's attacks becoming even more precise and deadly. Argon, now completely exhausted and unable to match Kenji's speed and skill, found himself at a severe disadvantage. With a final, powerful slash, Kenji cut through the blades extending from Argon's arms, rendering him defenseless. Argon started screaming in pain. His screams echoed the whole hallway. Finally Kenji kicked him in the chest and knocked him out.
Argon fell to the ground, defeated and disarmed.
Kenji stood over him, breathing heavily. He took out a cigarette, lit it, and took a long drag, exhaling the smoke slowly. He glanced down at Argon, who lay at his feet, and spoke heavily, "Never underestimate your opponent. Especially a lazy detective like me."
With the battle won, Kenji stood silently, the smoke from his cigarette curling around him as he took a moment to catch his breath and gather his strength.
