(A/N: If you've been reading for a while, you'll notice a few things change in the plot, but nothing too drastic. The old chapters will be unpublished as soon as I finish the story rewrite.)

It was no surprise to anyone that by the night had ended, Y/N and Draco Malfoy were already the talk of the whole Slytherin house. Well... Almost all. Not every Slytherin agreed with the Malfoy's ethics but it was a great chunk. So it was also no surprise that by the time their first classes rolled out, the twins had no problem in finding people to sit with, other than each other of course.
Class had already started with Harry nowhere to be seen. You'd expect as much since Y/N had been sorted out in a different house to him, but Transfiguration was a class shared with Gryffindors. Y/N sat next to Draco before pulling his book and quill out. The professor was still yet nowhere to be seen, but the class had already began working, copying down what was written on the chalkboard. It was quiet. So quiet that the only thing that could be heard was the breathing of the other students. It was odd for students to be so well-behaved without a professor in sight but perhaps it was due to it being the first day. It's not easy to get comfortable in a new place. Y/N took this time to assess his surroundings. There were many familiar faces, people he had met through his family's connections. On the table beside him sat Granger. Hermione Granger. The name had stuck. The younger twin wasn't one to remember the names of unimportant people. Unimportant to him meant people with no title. No fame. It was his father's teaching. Only remember those who would prove you useful. But her name stuck. Why? Y/N forced himself to believe that it was because she had made a powerful introduction. Talent. That was all. He shook his thoughts away, forcing his gaze to drift off. It landed on the Professor's desk where a cat sat. Another odd thing in this class. Were pets even allowed in classes? That's when it hit him... The cat was-
The loud creaking of the gigantic doors cut his thoughts short. In fact, it caught everyone's attentions. Y/N immediately recognized who had just barged in, running to the front. It was none other than Harry Potter and the Weasley.
"Made it!" The ginger panted, clutching his book under his arm.
"Could you imagine the look on old McGonagall's face if we were late?"
Harry didn't utter a word. Neither did the rest of the class. Y/N knew there were in for a surprise. Speaking of, the cat that Y/N had observed before it leaped from its spot, quickly transforming into the professor herself. Y/N watched as Weasley's mouth dropped along with Harry's. The rest of the class kept quiet, if anyone had been paying attention to the chalkboard, they'd know what had happened. The professor stared blankly at the Weasley. Unimpressed.
"Thank you for that assessment, Mr. Weasley." Professor McGonagall spoke sarcastically through her shaking voice.
Y/N wanted to give the Weasley's the benefit of the doubt. Just because they are poorly thought of by his father and poor, didn't mean they'd be bad people. They are still pure-bloods after all. But Ronald Weasley was not giving the best image right now.
"Perhaps, it would be more useful if I were to transfigure Mr. Potter and yourself into a pocket watch. That way, one of you may be on time." The professor suggested to the two boys, Y/N continued to watch.
"We got lost." Harry nearly stuttered, finally speaking up.
"Then perhaps a map? I trust you don't need one to find your seats." This professor had many comebacks, Y/N knew he'd end up looking up to her.
