The cabin was shrouded in the soft glow of moonlight, casting long shadows across the room as Milly watched you pack your belongings with a blank stare. Outside, the night air was crisp and still, a gentle breeze rustling through the trees as if whispering secrets to the night.

The trip was drawing to a close, and tomorrow morning would mark the beginning of the journey back home. The hot springs had provided a brief respite from the tensions that had simmered beneath the surface, but now reality loomed overhead like a dark cloud, threatening to engulf them once more.

You moved about the room, folding clothes and gathering scattered belongings, Milly's gaze remained fixed on you, her expression unreadable. She couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled in the pit of her stomach, a gnawing sense of dread that grew with each passing moment.

The events of the evening replayed in her mind like a broken record, each moment etched into her memory with painful clarity. The sight of you flustered and vulnerable after the altercation with Vicky, the ease with which Conri had calmed you down – it was all too much for her to bear.

A surge of jealousy coursed through her veins, dark and suffocating, as she grappled with the realization of just how deeply you cared for Conri.

It was a bitter pill to swallow, knowing that she could never compete with the bond you shared with him, no matter how desperately she wished otherwise.

"Did you already pack all your things?" You ask, turning around to look at the standing woman.

You finally noticed Milly's unsettlingly blank stare, a shiver ran down your spine, her face was washed of all emotion. A stark contrast to the deer who hid in you arms from a scary movie.

It was such an odd sensation. Like you truly didn't know what went on in that mind you broke and mended not too long ago.

You were nervous... scared.

You loved the feeling, it was so nostalgic. She recently made you feel what Conri could in just the span of a few months. You were sure you could push her to more.

But you were growing impatient.

You wanted her to look at you like this forever.

You wanted her to feel like she couldn't breathe without you. You wanted her to glare at anyone who grew near you. To hold you tightly until it hurt.

This was the Milly you liked, the one you... could tolerate.

You shook from your thoughts, determined to focus on the present moment, you shakily picked yourself up.

The air was thick with tension, each breath laden with unspoken words and hidden desires.

The jealousy that burned within Milly was fierce and all-consuming. She despised how you seemed to long for Conri with such intensity, more than a childhood friend should.

The anger she felt towards both of you simmered beneath the surface, threatening to boil over. A part of her knew that a normal person would walk away from a situation so hopeless, but she couldn't bring herself to do it.

She couldn't stand the thought of losing you, of watching helplessly as you slipped through her fingers and into the arms of another. You had turned her world upside down in the best way possible, and she was determined not to lose it all.

But how?

Should she beg, cry, or perhaps even resort to more... drastic measures to keep you by her side and away from those who might try to steal you away?
