Y U N J I N

Because I love you.

"I-I don't know," I manage to reply, mentally punching myself in the face. "I don't know..."

She clucks her tongue and heads to the door. "Well, yeah—figure that out because I'm grabbing a drink." With that, she leaves me alone as I slump on the closed toilet lid.

Someone comes in and throws up in the sink, and I frown, disgusted.

I leave and try to spot Chaewon anywhere because it seems like every time we're done fucking, it goes badly.

I'm pushing my way through people, searching for brown eyes and a beautiful face, when I accidentally hit someone and stumble back a bit.

Shaking my head, I adjust my eyes to the blinding lights and nearly feel my jaw drop when I see Ryujin.

Shin fucking Ryujin.

"Yunjin?" she asks, eyebrows furrowing and lips curving down in a frown as I gulp.

This isn't good.

And just as I was about to run away, somebody bumps into me from behind.

"Huh Yunjin?"

I swivel on my feet and see Hyein, one of the cheerleaders, eyeing me with a twinkle in her eyes.

"Well, what do you know? Kim is right." Chuckles a girl coming out of the shadows with a cup in hand that looks all too familiar.

"Huh was actually stupid enough to come."

It's Jang Wonyoung this time, and I feel my face paling as all three of them stare at me. Then another comes out from the crowd, and I notice it's that girl from this morning, Ahyeon.

"Yunjin?"

Everybody just loves to say my name and, in all honesty, even if the music was at its highest volume, I'd still hear them because the cheerleaders have been hell to me.

They all gang up on me, and I find myself surrounded by more cheerleaders.

What are they all doing here?

Ahyeon's the closest to me, and she's giving a look to the other girls.

"Don't do it," she begs them, eyes clenched shut for a moment.

I narrow my eyes at them. Why can't I hear the music now?

And why are all of them suddenly holding a cup of—I don't even want to say it.

I fidget in place and feel my legs wobbling as I look around, hoping to find some sort of escape while everyone else is too busy dancing.

My eyes stop on a figure I know too well on the top staircase just opposite from where I'm standing below it.

It's Chaewon—and she's wearing different clothes, but she's leaning on her side against the railings—watching me with something in her eyes.

A story I don't know.

She tilts her head back, takes a drink from her red solo cup, and goes back to staring at me.

"Wonyoung—don't," Ahyeon tries again, stepping forward.

Ryujin holds up her hand and grins.

"You know the captain's orders," she announces, giggling as all the other cheerleaders laugh along with her.

Ahyeon's being held back by a few girls as Wonyoung and Hyein step closer to me, breaking my eye contact with Chaewon.

"Listen up, Huh," they say in unison, clinking their cups.
