Beep - beep - beep______.
"Well done everyone the surgery is successful with no minor casualty" everyone present in the ot releases a sigh of relief.
Exiting the ot, you went in surgical staff dresing room to get yourself changed.
"Gosh !! " . Looked at yourself smiling through the mirror happy and proud bcz the surgery went well. You massage your neck & shoulders to ease the pain due to 6 hr operation .

Another regular day in your life as a surgeon. Handling serious cases like this.
You glanced over your watch while making your way towards your cabin. Grabbed your belongings as you left the hospital. It was already half past 4 in morning. You entered your room and bathed yourself before going to bed.

"God! Look at this sleepyhead girl!." Yaa Kim Taehee wake up " T/M screamed as she tried to pull of the blanket away.

"Mhhhh.....Let me sleep peacefully." Taehee groaned as she switched her face to another side.

"Do you even know what time it is". T/M again screamed went out of breath.

Taehee slightly raised her head to watch the table clock as it showed 11:00 p.m.
She slowly got up from her deep slumber and sat silent on bed for like half a minute to gain her consciousness.

"It's ok mom not to late, you know I did emergency case till almost 5 in the morning." Taehee got up from bed still feeling a heavy head due to lack of sleep.

"I know my baby your are tired, but don't worry take a fresh shower and good break fast you'll fell better".T/M said as she patted Taehee's back before leaving her room.

Walking down the stairs watching your parents laughing and talking is all it makes your day.

"Taehee, you feeling good now". T/M looked at her while serving her breakfast.

"Ya much better now".

"Well we are expecting guests by this weekend so I want your presence." T/M said.

"I would rather be at hospital for this weekend". Taehee mumbled to herself.

"Girl I know you don't like having guests at home but this time it's annual gathering". T/D said as he read today's magzine.

"Oh! I thought it would be some usual unfamiliar faces" Taahee went towards the sink.

"Oh God! honey I am having summersault in my stomach just by thinking about meeting them all, we'll have so much fun just like last time." T/M was beyond her excitement.

Taehee had a straight face as she prepared to leave, every year her mother was just as excited as previous times.

"I will try to come by 10.....and pls if you guys have time then think about what I said yesterday's morning." Taehee wore her shoes as she grabbed her lunch and left.

T/M and T/D looked at each other and sighed.

"This girl is just impossible". T/M mumbled.

"Ya ofcourse, she your daughter after all". T/D said with the flow bit regret instantly as he felt a glare on him.

"Aa-b -I-I was just joking hehe, don't mind it". he quickly took his office bag and left for his office.

"These both are impossible".

Both Taehee's mom and dad have wealthy business background. So a spoiled single child she was but Taehee nerver ever wasted money unnecessarily. Her parents had a Collab project for jewellery launch. Thus they met and things started.
After being in a relationship for 3 and half year they decided to marry.
Taehee always got everything on the tip of her finger. Well she had bigass attitude but never disrespected neither her elders or any one else.

At hospital:

Walking in corridor full of people some happy faces, some tensed, few hopeless and crying. Being habitual to her surrounding she casually walked to her cabin just to be greated by her bestie waiting for her.

"You are 24 mins 43 sec late" Min Ah looked at her wrist watch and then Taehee.

"Ya ya whatever" Taehee rolled her eyes at her best friend being annoying as usual.

"So couldn't sleep well right?" She guessed correctly.

"You know me very well then why asking" Taehee glanced at her schedule for the day and appointments.

"Tsk I was just worried ok, and anyways no one would care about me" Min Ah wiped her invisible tears from her face.

Taehee looked at her being dramatic and scoffed.

"Did you forget the extra honey cotted and clingy boyfriend of yours" Taehee said with her straight ass face. 😑

"Ya you- don't involve my baby in this ok and whats with that face of yours"

There was silence for few seconds.

"Anyways I heard it from seniors that you handle everything well for the emergency". Min Ah had small smile playing on her lips. But it died immediately as she saw Taehee lips curved a bit while she went through patient reports.

"Oh my god .... today is the day, after--" Min Ah paused while thinking. " After fu*king 25 days Miss Kim Taehee have a smile on her face".

"Stop being over dramatic" Taehee's again focused on the reports in her hand.

" It is a once in a moon chance to see you smile. This is not fair, i must know who is the extraordinary one who had the effect and power to make my friend smile". Min Ah smirked.

Taehee sighed as she knew that if she didn't told MinAh the reason she will eat her head the whole day.

"Annual meeting of the year and this time at my house".

"Ohhh ...the smile was for the god damn hot, handsome and gorgeous son of one the three friends of your mom huh!." MinAh smiled remembering.

"Girl you have a boyfriend stay loyal".
Taehee warned her.

"I was just stating the fact, and besides I love my baby so much stop talking rubbis-" MinAh stopped in between as she realised " Oh so you are jealous of your own best friend for complementing your crush" MinAh said as her eyes went wide.

" First of all he is not my crush and second I don't get jealous for these pitty things".

"Taehee whom you are lying to my lady I know everything and bty when is it" MinAh lookimed at her phone as she received notification.

"This weekend ". Taehee simply answered her while getting ready for the appointment.

"Well have fun they and I want A to Z details about the event, you got it" MinAh ordered Taehee.

"Yes my darling, now leave I am expecting patient at any moment".

"Ok then meet you at lunch and don't dare to ditch me ok". Taehee watched MinAh left her cabin.

Sitting down as she remembered MinAh say " hot, handsome and gorgeous son of -" Taehee cleared her mind and mentally scolded herself for this weird behaviour.
Well to note the fact that our miss attitude had never been into a relationship before. Maybe she might have had 1 or 2 crushes at her teen and even went on few stupid dates but not in a serious relationship before. She just believed that, that wasn't the time for her to hang around with a boy but to rather focus on her studies and to become independent on her own despite her parents being rich. Self respect and pride you know.
At present at the age of 26 she was achieving all her goals and leaving her dream job...I mean that's all she wanted right? Or maybe.
