Flashback: A Few Days Ago

Seungcheol's mom had called Jiwoo. She entered the study rooo, sitting opposite to S/M, and noticed the serious expression on her mother-in-law's face.

"Mom, what's up? You look like you've got something on your mind," Jiwoo said, pouring herself a glass of water.

Seungcheol's mom leaned in, her voice low but determined. "Jiwoo, I need you to do something for me. I need you to find out if Seungcheol likes anyone. And I mean anyone at all."

Jiwoo raised an eyebrow. "You mean, like a girl?"

"Yes, a girl, Jiwoo!" Seungcheol's mom sighed in exasperation. "Cuz I can't just blindly plan myself, we need to know what if he likes someone. He's not getting any younger, and I'm worried he's too absorbed in work to notice anyone around him. So I need you to, you know, subtly get it out of him. I can't ask directly; he'll just shut down."

Jiwoo smirked. "So, you're putting me on a secret mission? To make Seungcheol spill the tea?"

"Exactly!" Seungcheol's mom nodded. "He's always had a soft spot for you. If anyone can make him talk, it's you."

Jiwoo laughed, shaking her head. "Alright, alright. I'll see what I can do. But I can't guarantee anything; he's stubborn, you know that."

Seungcheol's mom waved her hand dismissively. "Just try your best. I don't want to meddle too much, but I need to know if he's truly happy."

Jiwoo gave a reassuring smile and a thumbs-up. "Got it, Mom. Operation Love Confession is a go."

As Jiwoo left the room, Seungcheol's mom watched her go, feeling a mix of hope and anxiety. She knew it wasn't easy to get Seungcheol to open up about his feelings, but she was determined to do whatever it took to ensure her son found happiness-even if it meant a little scheming on her part.

The next day, Jiwoo waited until Seungcheol came home from work and was settled in his room. She knocked on the door, and when he called out, "Come in!" she entered with a casual smile.

"Hey, cheol! How was your day?" Jiwoo asked, plopping down on the bed beside him.

Seungcheol rubbed his tired eyes, his expression softening at her presence. "It was fine. Just busy as usual."

Jiwoo nodded sympathetically, her eyes scanning his room for any signs of...well, anything interesting. But all she saw were the usual books, papers, and work-related stuff.

Jiwoo gazed Seungcheol from the corner of her eyes being nervous. "Do you think pineapple belongs on pizza?"

Seungcheol looked up from his laptop, confused. "Uh, no. What's that got to do with anything?"

Jiwoo grinned innocently. "Just wondering. So, do you think a person can love two things at once?"

Seungcheol raised an eyebrow. "Like what?"

Jiwoo shrugged. "Like, I don't know, work and...something else?"

Seungcheol started to get suspicious. "Noona, what are you getting at?"

Jiwoo asked another question. "Do you think it's possible for someone to be amazing at their job, but also amazing at...other things?"

Seungcheol threw up his hands. "Stop! You're driving me crazy with these indirect questions. Do you want to know something about me? Just ask!"

Jiwoo giggled. "Okay, okay. But I was just trying to...scientifically deduce your love life."

Seungcheol shook his head, laughing. "You're something else miss.jiwoo. But not now I am busy."
