Taehee trudged through the front door, her eyes half-closed from exhaustion. She flopped onto the couch, not even bothering to take off her shoes.

Her mom poked her head out from the kitchen. "Hey, sweetie! Welcome home!"

Taehee groggily opened one eye. " I'm already dead?"

Her mom chuckled. "Well, in that case, you just have to embrace your bed."

The next morning, Taehee stumbled into the kitchen, still in her pajamas. Her mom was already cooking breakfast, and the delicious smell of pancakes filled the air.

"Morning, sunshine!" her mom said, flipping a pancake.
"I was thinking... it's time we visited the Choi family. They're expecting us next weekend."

Taehee poured herself a cup of coffee, still trying to wake up.

Taehee rolled her eyes, smiling sarcastically. "Got it. Anything else?"

Hospital

Minah sat beside Taehee, looking concerned. "He cancelled our meeting with his parents again," she said.

Taehee, who was recovering from a minor procedure, frowned. "What happened this time?"

Minah sighed. "He said his parents had a sudden business meeting and couldn't make it. I believe him, though. He sounded really stressed about it."

Taehee's expression softened. "Well, maybe it's just bad timing then. Don't worry, Minah. I'm sure you'll meet them soon."

Minah nodded, feeling a bit better. "Yeah, I hope so. I'm just getting a little anxious about it."

Taehee's eyes narrowed slightly as Minah left her hospital room. She couldn't shake off the feeling that something wasn't quite right. Minah's boyfriend had cancelled their meeting with his parents again, and while Minah believed his excuse, Taehee wasn't so sure.

She thought back to all the times Minah had mentioned her boyfriend's cancellations and excuses. It was starting to sound like a pattern. Taehee's concern for her friend grew. Was Minah's boyfriend genuinely busy, or was he avoiding something?

Nevertheless she shrugged her thoughts thinking that she is overthinking about this matter.

Jeonghan sat at his desk, staring blankly at his computer screen. Seungcheol walked in and took a seat across from him, his expression serious.

"What's on your mind, Jeonghan?" Seungcheol asked, his voice low and even.

Jeonghan shrugged. "Just work stuff. And the meaninglessness of existence."

Seungcheol raised an eyebrow. "Deep. But I think it's just a side effect of too much caffeine."

Jeonghan chuckled. "Maybe you're right."

Seungcheol nodded thoughtfully. "I'm always right. That's why they call me Seungcheol, the Oracle."

Jeonghan rolled his eyes. "They don't call you that."

Seungcheol grinned. "Not yet. But I'm working on it. And I'll start by predicting that you need a snack. Want one?"

Jeonghan smiled, and Seungcheol left the office, muttering to himself, "I'll be back, with snacks and wisdom."

Seungcheol returned with a plate of freshly baked cookies and a bag of chips. "Snack time! I brought a variety, because I'm a thoughtful Oracle."

Jeonghan laughed and took a cookie. "You're the best, Seungcheol. But seriously, what's up? You seemed pretty serious when you came in."
