Taehee's mom was on the phone with SooAh, catching up things. SooAh shared the exciting news that her son HyoJin is dating someone.

Taehee's mom beamed with happiness for her friend's son. "That's wonderful, SooAh! I'm so happy for him."

SooAh then asked, "And how about Taehee? Is she seeing anyone special?"

Taehee's mom hesitated for a moment before responding,
"No, not that I know of. Taehee's been focusing on her career and hasn't mentioned anyone special."

SooAh's curiosity was piqued. "I'm sure she'll find someone soon. She's such a lovely person. Maybe someone will catch her eye at work?"

Taehee's mom chuckled nervously. "Well how is Bruno(her dog)."
She said trying to change the topic.

SooAh laughed. "Bruno's doing well, thanks for asking! He's still getting into mischief. But I'm not letting you change the subject that easily! I'm sure Taehee will find someone special when the time is right."

T/M smiled, relieved that SooAh didn't press further. "I'm sure you're right, SooAh. Well, I should let you go. It was great catching up with you."

"Likewise!" SooAh replied. "Let's do it again soon. And don't worry, I won't pry into Taehee's love life...for now!"

T/M chuckled and ended the call, feeling grateful for her friend's understanding. She couldn't help but wonder, though, if Taehee would ever find someone special to share her life with.

That evening, Taehee's mom waited for her daughter to come home from work. As soon as Taehee walked in the door, her mom greeted her with a warm smile.

"Hey, sweetie! How was your day?"

Taehee dropped her bag and flopped onto the couch. "It was good, mom. Just busy as usual."

Her mom sat down beside her. "I talked to SooAh today. She told me about HyoJin's new girlfriend."

Taehee raised an eyebrow. "Oh, yeah? That's great for him!"

Her mom took a deep breath. "SooAh asked about you, too. If you were seeing anyone special."

Taehee's frowned. "And what did you tell her?"

"I said you were focusing on your career and hadn't mentioned anyone special. But, Taehee, I have to ask...is there someone? Someone you're interested in or talking to?"

Taehee shifted uncomfortably, avoiding eye contact. "Mom, can we talk about this later? I'm tired from work."

Her mom nodded understandingly. "Okay, dear. We can talk about it later. But know that I'm here for you, whenever you're ready."

Taehee freshened up and came downstairs for dinner, feeling refreshed after a long day at work. Her mom had prepared her favorite dish, and the aroma filled the room.
