What if The Darkness was good and The Steves were evil(Or well, most of them, i might make some of the Steves still be good guys, just misled by the others)
This AU also has Void as Sabre's dad :P
Also this is my first Rainbow quest Fanfic-

Sabre was awoken the next morning by someone knocking on his door, he slowly got up, stretching a bit before getting out of bed and answering the door, outside was one of the dark figures wearing orange gloves, "Breakfast is ready my prince, by the way, while the others don't have names i do, my name is Tangerine :D" Tangerine said in a happy voice,
"Oh, nice to meet you Tangerine :]" Sabre replied, "Want me to show you the way to the dining room?" Tangerine asked, "Yea, that would be nice" Sabre said, Tangerine nodded and waved for Sabre to follow him as the two headed through the halls of the mansion,
there's a couple of portraits and paintings along the halls, a few of them being of a dark grey cloaked person that seems oddly familiar and a little kid that kinda looks like Sabre, eventually they reach a big door which Tangerine opens to reveal a big hall with a big table and many, many chairs,
but there's only two plates on the table, each in front of a chair with Orange Steve sitting in one of the chairs and eating scrambled eggs, there's also quite a selection of food on the table there's bacon, sunny side up eggs, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, cheese, bread, butter, fruits and carrots,
Sabre went and sat at the other chair with a plate in front of it before looking at Orange Steve, "Good morning Orange Steve!" Sabre said as Orange Steve looked up, "Morning Sabre!" Orange Steve replied back and the two started talking a little bit about things like the food, themselves and overall just friendly conversation.
Later.
Sabre, Orange Steve and Tangerine are outside near Gerald's pen, Tangerine is making flower crowns while Sabre and Orange Steve are talking, "So you're from a village with just Orange Steves? No other colors?" Sabre asks, "Yep, that's just how things are, Steves don't really live together with other colored Steves..." Orange Steve admits,
"Then how would Rainbow Steve even be created?" Sabre asks, "Uh, going around to every kingdom or village and ask for the crystals?" Orange Steve responds with a bit of uncertainty,
"Oooh" Sabre and Orange Steve sat in silence for a bit, "There's something i need to te-" Orange Steve was interrupted by Tangerine jumping up and running around in a circle,
"Uh Tangerine? What are you doing?" Sabre asks, "Yellow Steves are coming! I need to be ready to run out and distract them!" Tangerine answers as he stops up, "What? Why?" Sabre asks, "I need to run now so ask Orange Steve" Tangerine says before running off, "Why does Tangerine have to distract the Yellow Steves?" Sabre asks Orange Steve, "Thats kinda what i wanted to tell you..." Orange Steve hesitates before continuing,
"RedSteveliedabouttheprophecy!you'reactuallysupposedtohelpthedarknessandwelliwentalongwithiti'msosorryaboutthat!" Orange Steve blurted out,
"What?" Sabre asked, Orange Steve sighs, "Red Steve lied to you about the prophecy, in the real prophecy you help the darkness and free void, who well is your dad, i'm really sorry i didn't say anything earlier or object to what Red Steve told me, it's just i've heard scary stories before that the darkness is well evil and wants to corrupt everything, but seeing how well the darkness seems to act it's a bit hard to believe those stories, especially after what Tangerine told me about himself..." Orange Steve explained, sounding guilty about his part in things, "Oh..." is all Sabre says,

"I'm sorry... but it's not safe anymore..." a dark grey cloaked figure says confusing a smaller and younger Sabre, "What do you mean Dad?" the figure doesn't answer as a mysterious portal opens behind Sabre and he is pushed through it.
~ Now be brought back to the present by Tangerine boi ~
"We should probably get inside..." Orange Steve comments looking out towards the field, Sabre looks towards where Orange Steve is looking and sees Tangerine running towards a whole lot Yellow Steves, "I guess..." Sabre replies still kinda processing the whole thing,
Orange Steve helps Sabre up and the two walk inside, Sabre watching through one of the windows while Orange Steve goes back out to retrieve Gerald, quickly hurrying inside after he gets Gerald,
"Hey Orange Steve?" Sabre asks, "Yea?" "Do you actually want to be my friend?" "Of course!" "Thanks."
