He overlooked the city below, but more specifically the warehouse that was in a populated area of Hell's Kitchen. His eyes narrowed, with the lenses of his mask doing exactly the same. He was using a symbiote, one gifted to him by his father, as his suit. The pure black suit with a red spider logo on its chest was simple yet effective. Though he had the logo of her mother hidden in the palms, a red hourglass design. Regardless, he sighed while feeling just how restless his symbiote was. While his symbiote could not talk, unlike the one his father had, he, Steve Parker-Romanova, could feel exactly how it felt.
"This city never gives us a break, does it?" Steve muttered seemingly to himself, but he knew otherwise. He had already felt his friend arriving at the building. He looked up, admiring the night just as he enjoyed the feeling of the cool breeze against his body. It was then that a figure emerged from the shadows, moving with the silent grace of a predator. He saw the black suit that his friend wore, with the only color the male had was the two 'D's that were in the chest area. He even noticed a pair of sais on the right thigh of his best friend.
"No, it doesn't..." Franklin Murdock-Natchios, the new Daredevil, had joined him on the rooftop. He noticed the determined voice of his best friend, which made him give a small smile. The symbiote removed itself from his face, revealing it to the world even if only his friend could see him at the moment. His red hair went wild against the breeze of the night, his hazel eyes glancing to his friend. He was thankful for having Franklin as a friend, and for being for that matter. His mother was sterile, unable to have kids of her own. But, from what she had told him, the symbiote that his father owned had regenerated the damage done by some people his parents still did not talk about. "The Hand is getting bolder. We need to stop them before they cause more chaos"
He overlooked once more the city that never sleeps, his eyes looking at each towering skyscraper that casted huge shadows over the now lone streets. His ears were trying to detect any movement from the warehouse down below, thankful that he had enhanced senses. He had been strategizing for a while now, something that he knew his father did not do often. He knew that the two of them would easily be able to defeat the last remains of The Hand, but it was better to wait for their other friend. Though he could understand why Franklin was not able to stand the last member of the group, the trio were the best of friends. And as if on cue, the last member appeared, supporting a black and red suit like the two of them.
"Sorry I'm late, I was waiting for mother to relieve me from keeping the Bloodstone safe" He nodded, looking at the sortie of weapons that the last member of their group had on hand. He even saw a slight twinkle in the right red lens of one Ulysses Wilson-Bloodstone, who also went by Zenpool when he was in suit. He was hopeful that Ulysses would not ruin his plan regarding the elimination of The Hand. "I hope I didn't miss the party!"
"You're just in time, Ulysses" Steve replied, which made the son of Deadpool and Bloodstone smirk behind his mask. Steve gave a small smile, slowly being covered by his symbiote which gave him his mask back. He looked at Daredevil and Zenpool, nodding at the duo in front of him. "We were about to drop on the last warehouse owned by The Hand" He stated, his friends joining him by his side. The wind picked up, the wind getting colder and trying to hit his skin with its blades. He could hear the cracks of Ulysses' knuckles, which only made him shake his head slightly. And don't get him started on Franklin, who already had his own sais on hand. The trio, especially himself, jumped with gusto, gliding down nearer to the warehouse. "We need to hit them hard and fast, take them out before they can escape and regroup"
"So, distraction as always, right?" Ulysses called out, which only made him nod at his friend. He watched Zenpool running towards the edge of the building. He just knew what the son of Deadpool was about to say, his father had told him that Uncle Wade did it many times before as well. His friend jumped, his hands going to the twin blades that he had on his back. His eyes watching just how Zenpool eliminated two of the members of The Hand quite easily. "Cowabunga, bitches!"
"Be careful, Steve. The Hand is dangerous, and they won't go down without a fight" He smiled underneath his mask, grateful for his friend's worried tone. But he had thought hard about the raid that they were doing to this warehouse, planned carefully alongside his mother just what to do to eliminate The Hand once and for all. He nodded, accepting Franklin's words with determination. It was time to finish this, a web hitting the back of the warehouse. "I'll go through the front. Will distract them for you"
"Thanks, Frank..." Steve muttered, saying the nickname that he had given his friend since they were young. He swung, immediately standing on the backside of the building and slipping through the access hatch and entering the warehouse. He immediately blended with the shadows, his eyes carefully watching just how Franklin was defeating a few ninjas from The Hand quite easily. He could feel the tension, the whispers of battle entered his ears. He noticed one sole ninja and he smirked widely as he willed his symbiote to string him up towards him. Kicking him on the head and knocking the ninja out, he webbed the ninja out of sight from their enemies.
His heart pounded with adrenaline, his eyes looking for any other opportunity he may have to help his friend from the waves of ninjas that were approaching him. Knowing full well that he couldn't stay in the shadows for long, he jumped. His symbiote created a small sphere over his hand, one that he tossed to a group of ninjas. He stood back to back with Franklin, overlooking just as his friend's hands held the now bloodied sais that previously belonged to Franklin's mother. He nodded towards Daredevil, who just nodded back before the duo began to fight once more. He fought with a controlled fury, taking down his enemies one by one. The warehouse echoed with the sounds of battle, a battle that he knew was close to an end.
*BOOM*
"That was Zenpool, wasn't it?" Poison could only chuckle a bit at the frustrated question made by Daredevil. It was obvious that Ulysses would be as chaotic as Uncle Wade, he had demonstrated that many times before. Thankfully, Ulysses had a filter unlike Deadpool. He could already hear the maniacal laughter that was Ulysses without a shadow of a doubt. "I can't stand him sometimes..."
"At least he didn't let any of them escape" Steve added, his mask receding back. He could see that The Hand was over, the few remaining ninja's had been defeated and taken care of. Just as planned, everything had finished without a hitch. It was then that his senses warned him of something, his mask returning full force. He glanced back, looking just how a ninja had seemingly appeared between the duo. Yet before he could react, a big web impacted the ninja.
"Hell yeah! Wait until I tell dad about this!" He immediately looked up, his eyes falling to what appeared to be a female arachnid hero. She was wearing what appeared to be a black suit with a golden webbing pattern. He narrowed his eyes, carefully watching the new hero. He felt his senses warn him about her, but it wasn't telling him that she was a danger. It made him feel conflicted, even ignoring Zenpool as he arrived to stand by himself and Daredevil.
"Who's the hottie? Your-"
"Could you please shut up? Trying to talk to my brother here" He watched just how she shot a web at Zenpool's mouth, or at least where it's supposed to be. He widened his eyes a bit, shocked at the fact that he had a sister. As far as he knew, he was an only child. "Hey! Been looking all over for you. Name's Samatha, but you can call me Sam" He watched just how his apparent sister dropped to the ground, her eyes looking over what appeared to be a small metallic device on her wrist. In seconds an hexagonal portal appeared right beside her, showing the trio a place that they did not know about. "I'm your half sister from an alternate universe, and we could really use your help to stop the all the universes from collapsing"
He narrowed his eyes, the words from his sister echoing deeply in his mind. He noticed quite a few things just from this interaction alone. His eyes could see through the portal, a place that seemed normal at first, if it weren't for the fact that he could see almost unnoticeable webs adorning the walls. He also noticed that the conversation was meant just for him, with his sister shutting up Ulysses being proof enough. He momentaneously closed his eyes, thinking about what he should do.
"Don't worry about us or your family, Steve. We'll tell them what is happening" He had to hand it to Ulysses, he knew exactly what he was thinking. He had thankfully removed the web from the area of his mouth, and immediately went to comfort him. Franklin stayed quiet but Steve knew that Daredevil was on board with Zenpool's words. He nodded, a smile hidden by his mask. He stared at his sister once more, a determined expression hidden by the mask yet not unnoticeable by his sister across from him who had placed her hands over her hips.
"So... Where are we going, sister?"
