It was a sunny afternoon, a very specific plane had just landed on the lands of Japan, Tokyo. A tall, blonde haired American boy with jade eyes, a lean figure and a doll-like face. He was wearing a pair of skinny jeans with a few rips, a black t-shirt and a blue zip up hoodie. Since it was spring time in Japan, it wasn't exactly cold.
"Ash!"
A familiar voice called out, capturing the attention of the blonde haired boy, He turned his head to the source of the noise, it was none other but Shunichi Ibe. The man that brought Eiji to New York with him. Ash coming to Japan was a surprise, Eiji wasn't supposed to know yet. But since Ash had absolutely no idea how things worked here, he did have to get the help of Ibe.
"Ibe."
Ibe ran up to Ash, ruffling his head, it had been almost a year since he had seen the blonde haired boy. They had all became close friends during that little time in New York, and Ash and Eiji seemed to have an 𝒆𝒙𝒕𝒓𝒂 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 relationship. Ash couldn't help but smile slightly, he was finally in Japan..He was finally meeting Eiji after so long. After all, he hadn't been able to meet his beloved brown haired boy ever since he last saw Eiji in the hospital.
The two of them exited the airport, Ash briefly stopped to inhale the clean, refreshing air. Dozens of lovely, pink cherry blossom trees surrounded the area, slight petals flying around in the air. Japan, a place where Eiji promised..promised that guns weren't needed to survive. Ash hoped into Ibe's car, putting on the seat belt with a click. Ibe got into the car after him, taking the wheel.
"It's a short drive from the airport to Eiji's apartment, get yourself comfortable."
"Ari-ga-tou."
Ibe blinked, staring at Ash as if the blonde haired boy had two heads or something. A slightly embarrassed blush crept to Ash's face, maybe trying that little Japanese he learnt from Eiji was still a work in progress..maybe it wasn't best to use yet.
"What?"
"Nothing, I was just surprised. I didn't expect you to know.."
"Just get to driving, old man."
Ibe sighed, Ash's personality still remained the same, but it didn't feel annoying at all. Smiling softly, Ibe reached his hand to turn on the radio, playing songs that were quite popular in Japan, Ash didn't understand or know anything, but the songs sounded quite appealing to him. Maybe..He'd like this place way better than that hell hole New York was.

Author's note: If you're wondering why it's Tokyo and not Izumo, well just for funsies, let's say Eiji moved to Tokyo and lives alone in his own apartment.
