"----Ash!"
The blonde haired boy slowly opened his eyes, he had fallen asleep almost instantly after getting in the car. The jet lag was absolutely insane and he had the biggest headache ever.
"Get off, we're here."
Ibe helped Ash out of the car, he was still yawning, closing his eyes and almost falling asleep. A gentle slap on the back woke the blonde haired boy up, earning a frown from him as he finally stood up straight.
"We can take the luggage out of the trunk later, let's go surprise Eiji first."
"Alright."
The two of them walked into the gates, Eiji lived on the fourth floor of this small, apartment building. It was nothing fancy or big, just enough to fit one person, maybe two as well. Ibe waited a little far from the door, standing on top of the stairs, arms crossed with back leaned against the wall. Ash walked over to the very door that lead to Eiji's apartment, after a year..He finally got to see Eiji, he got to see the one he loved, cared about and found most comfort in. A shaky fist knocking on the door three times. And then pure silence for a moment.
The door handle loudly clicked, the large white door slowly opening, a familiar face peaking out. Eiji, a brown haired Japanese boy, with alluring brown eyes, and a doll-like baby face. He was a little shorter in height compared to Ash. Soft eyes going wide, Eiji's lips parted into a gasp when he caught glimpse of the blonde haired boy in front of him.
"Ash..?"
"Eiji.."
It had been a year since Eiji had came back to Japan, even longer since he had last seen Ash. This blonde haired boy he had wished to see so much but never got a chance to. Tears glistening at the corners of the brown haired boys eyes as he sniffed, blinking to make sure this wasn't a dream. Ash..he really was here..he was here..in Japan, in front of Eiji's doorstep. Ash couldn't help but smile, opening his arms to let the brown haired boy practically tackle him into a hug, his arms wrapping around the blonde haired boy's neck. The two of them had missed eachother's embrace so much, the warm hug that made them feel complete. Eiji felt incomplete without Ash, and Ash felt like a lost cause with no one to love without Eiji. The two boys stayed silent for a while, still embracing each other, enjoying the warmth of each other. Of course, their little reunion was interrupted by Ibe who finally walked up the few stairs to the door.
"Are you two lovebirds done yet? I'll go get your luggage, Ash. Then I'll have to leave back for work."
"Thanks."
Ibe smiled at the two of them, walking downstairs to get the things. Leaving the two of them alone, Eiji inhaled sharply, collecting himself as he looked up at Ash.
"What took so long..? Why did you make me wait a year..? Tell me.."
"I'm sorry, Eiji."
"Sorry won't cut it..You have no idea how much I missed you."
"I missed you too."
The two of them hugged again, soft and loving smiles on their face.
