I decided to drive Sacred home. She hasn't talked since we left her office.

Parang hangin lang ako.

She's still sitting inside my car with me. I waited for her to speak.

"I am not sorry for kissing you. And if I am to go back in time, I'll do it again." Sabi niya. Her eyes are outside, but what she said made me feel giddy. She didn't regret kissing me. That's good. It means I am so close to having her, hindi ba?

Something inside me wanted to push the topic further. So, I did.

"Do you like me, Miss Sacred?" I asked.

"I kissed you a few times and you already think I like you?" Parang tinutusok ako nang libo-libong karayom. She's laughing like a maniac.

I tilted my head. Is liking me that funny? Why is she laughing so hard?

"Hindi ba?" Tanong ko.

"God, no! You're..." Tumigil siya sa pagtawa at tumingin sa buong katawan ko. She chuckled.

"Still a kid, Perez. Besides, I cannot like someone like you."

What she said hurts. I am not a kid. Kaya ko na nga siyang anakan kung gusto ko. What hurts me more is her saying that she cannot like someone like me. Really? Ano ba ako? Ano bang tingin niya saakin?

I looked straight into her eyes, trying my hardest to hide my feelings away.

"Okay."

Lumabas si Sacred sa kotse ko at dere-deretsong pumasok sa building. I chucked bitterly before driving away. Is this how she wants to play? She wants to hurt my feelings?

I am fixing myself, staring at my reflection through the mirror. She messaged me last night. And if Sacred wants to play dirty, I guess I can do that too.

Sakto naman na may lakad si Sacred sa mall. I saw it sa tracker na inilagay ko sa mga gamit niya. We had a scheduled dinner with her mamaya, but my sisters told me that I can eat with her alone.

"Phoenix! Hi!" I smiled fakely as Eve approached me.

"Hello, there. Should we stroll first or are you hungry?" I asked.

"Let's stroll for now, Phoenix." Tumango ako. I felt her hand on my arm. Hinayaan ko na lang kahit na sobrang uncomfortable sa feeling.

There's a possibility that my Sacred would see us, and this might be the price I have to pay.

"Your accent is very sexy, do you know that?" She asked. Inilapit niya ang mukha niya saakin. What the fuck?

"A lot of people did." Sagot ko. I stared at her boredly.

I saw Sacred marching towards us. Worth it naman pala ang pagtitiis dito kay Eve. Sacred smiled sarcastically when our eyes met.

I nearly let out a chuckle when she pulled Eve's hair.

"OUCH! WHAT THE FUCK?!" Sigaw ni Eve. Nakakairita ang boses niya. Kung pwede lamang ay kanina ko pa siyang pinasakan ng papel. I was enjoying my view, Sacred pulling Eve's hair down.

Bloody hot.

"Woah, woah!" I heard Miss Welsh's shocked voice from behind Sacred. A lot of people are watching us. Oh my, Sacred. What would your father think if he saw you doing this in public?

"What are you telling Perez that you have to speak a little too close than I would have allowed, Miss?" My wife is jealous. And she said I am just a kid.

"Le-let go. It-It's hurting me." Naiiyak na si Eve and I don't even care at all. I mean, come on! I used her to see this version of Sacred. I can see how Sacred is enjoying what she is doing.

I pulled her away when I saw her raisinr her hand to slap Eve. Hindi ko iyon hahayaan.

Sayang ang palad niya kung dadapo lang din sa mukha ng malanding ito. I tend to Eve, and called one of my butlers to take her home. This would be the last time I'm seeing her. Thanks for her very helpful presence.

Inihatid ko siya sa parking lot.

"I am sorry about that. Make sure to rest, yeah?" I said as I caressed her cheeks. I am in dire need of alcohol after this. She cried and pulled me in a hug. I might have to change my clothes too. Damn.

"I am sorry for ruining our date." She said. I shook my head before closing the door. Hindi ko na sila hinintay na umalis at naglakad na ulit papasok sa mall.

Pumunta ako sa Jollibee kung saan kami maglalunch. They have ordered and I stayed to wait for it. This is my first time eating here. Mas gusto kasi nila P na sa bahay nagluluto. Lalabas lamang kami kapag related sa business.

Binitbit ko ang isang tray at pumunta sa gawi nila Sacred. Should I sit beside Miss Welsh to irk her?

"Uh," pagtawag ko sa attention nilang dalawa. Tumingin naman agad sila kaya ibinaba ko ang hawak na tray.

"What?"

"Food is here?" I sat beside Miss Welsh which made Sacred's forehead crease.

"Why are you sitting there? Sit beside me, love." Tinapik niya ang upuan sa tabi niya. I sighed, stood up, and sat beside her. I saw her smiling widely.

Hindi rin nakalampas sa tenga ko ang pagtawag niya saakin ng love. She can't even admit that she has a thing for me.

Kinuha ko ang plato niya at hinimay ang chicken niya. Pampadagdag pogi points, of course. Ibinigay ko naman sakanya pagkatapos kong mahimay.

The food was good. Pwede na sa presyo nila. Miss Welsh asked too many questions about Piper. Siguro kapag ikinuwebto ko kay Piper ay kikiligin siya nang sobra. 

Nagpaalam na rin si Miss Welsh pagkatapos namin maglunch. She kissed Sacred's kiss then mine.

Nakatayo lang kami ni Sacred sa harap ng Ducati ko.

"Drop me off? I didn't bring a car with me." She asked while smiling cutely at me. Well, sucks to be her but I want to see her darkness more than anything.

"Why would I? You've hurt my good friend, Miss Sacred."

"Are you rejecting me, Perez? Really? Me?" She asked. Hindi siya makapaniwala sa sinabi ko. Well, I would really not reject her. Not in my wildest dreams.

This time, I have to.

Sumakay ako sa motorbuke ko at isinuot ang helmet. I smiled genuinely as soon as my lips were covered.

"By the way Sacred, Professor Welsh's lips are softer than yours." Pang-aasar ko at pinatakbo ang motorbike. She won't do anything stupid to Miss Welsh. Saakin, baka pa.

I can't wait to see what she'll do.
