"I love you". Rieka held tightly to her father. If she told him what renly and loras had planned he would surely lock her away. She had to do this without him finding out. Ask forgiveness not permission "you are the best dad in the whole world." Rieka added. Ned smiled kissing the top of her head.

"You are the best daughter in the world. Don't tell your sisters." He added quickly. Rieka smiled into him but tears stained her cheeks. "Sweetie, whats wrong?"

"Nothing. I just wish jaime wasn't an idiot." Rieka offered. "Are you in much pain still?"

"I will survive. Have you packed?"

"Yes". Rieka agreed. It wasn't a lie. She packed up to take her leave with renly and loras.

"Thank you for not making things difficult maybe talk to your sisters in the morning." Ned suggested

"Sansa is always difficult its her default, like mother." rieka teased. Ned chuckled hugging her again.

"You get some rest. I love you sweetie. "

"I love you dad. Feel better. " Rieka added heading off. Renly found her in the hall as loras came out of her chambers bag in hand.

"You pack light." Loras remarked.

"You ready?" Renly questioned rieka nodded.

"Lets go. "

"All is accomplished. The City Watch is yours."

"Good. Is Lord Renly joining us?" Ned questioned.

"I fear Lord Renly has left the city." Varys countered. "He rode through the old gate an hour before dawn with Ser Loras Tyrell and some 50 retainers. Last seen galloping South in some haste.... with your daughter Rieka with them."

"What?" ned demanded.

"This is crazy." Rieka declared, she never felt more alive.

"Trouble, this is the beginning of the rest of your life." Loras decided. "Correction," he draped an arm over her. "Our lives." She tried not to read to much into it but hell they asked her to come with, they asked her to join them.

But as Renly gathered his troops, the capital became distant until Ned was in chains and all hell broke loose.

"I have tried to talk her out of it." Loras remarked softly.

"He was her father, of course she wants to go back there and kill joffrey." Renly agreed. "I still can't believe it."

"I can." loras mumbled. "Joffrey was awful, they put a crown on the bastards head, of course he is going to be wicked."

"That does help our current situation." Renly looked to rieka, curled up sobbing.

"You are better at this part than I." Loras offered.

"I am not."

"You need a bride, we both want that person to be Rieka. Be the person she leans on." Loras instructed. "And talk her out of going to the capital."

"Shes not thinking of marriage now-"

"And dont you dare bring it up, let her grieve, We will discuss it... tomorrow."

"Her father just died."

"How long of a time period does one wait? I dont like my father, I dont know the protocol." Loras corrected, Renly rolled his eyes moving to Rieka, he knelt beside her.

"I never should have left, I could have stopped this." Rieka decided. She didnt know how but being here this far away she certainly couldnt fix this.

"Joffrey is a cruel boy, you would have gotten killed to." Renly corrected.

"I am going to kill him." Rieka decided.

"He would kill you before you got the chance, Rieka you can't be rash."

"I cant just sit and sob for another day." Rieka countered. "I have to do something," she whimpered.

"You need to rest, and eat something." Renly corrected grabbing her hands. "You beat your hands bloody." he whispered.

"I needed to punch someone but joffrey wasnt available so the tree got my anger instead." Rieka agreed. Renly waved over a healer.

"I need fresh linin for bandages and water." Renly instructed. "Rieka," he guided her to her feet. "I want you to stay here," he brought her to his tent. "And eat, rest and let me handle Joffrey."

"I want him dead, Renly." Rieka demanded. "I want his head on a fucking spike."

"We will get you, your justice." Renly assured. "I promise you."

"The Stark boy appears to be less green than we'd hoped." Tyrion agreed.

"I've heard his wolf killed a dozen men and as many horses." Leo Lefford offered.

" ls it true about Stannis and Renly?" Addam Marbran questioned.

" Both Baratheon brothers have taken up against us. Jaime captured, his armies scattered. It's a catastrophe. Perhaps we should sue for peace." Kevan agreed.  Tyrion dropped his glass it shattered to the floor.

"There's your peace. Joffrey saw to that when he decided to remove Ned Stark's head. You'll have an easier time drinking from that cup than you will bringing Robb Stark to the table now. He's winning – in case you hadn't noticed."
