I wish that you would stay in my memories

But you show up today just to ruin things

I wanna put you in the past cause I'm traumatized

But you're not letting me do that

Memories- Conan Gray

Aron flopped down onto her couch, practically melting at the comfort it provided. Her light blonde hair was damp from her shower, and she wore a hoodie with pajama pants. She wrapped herself in a blanket she'd left on it the day before, yawning. She was currently in training as a new doctor, one who specialized in demons and magic.

She wasn't in med school like the usual human doctor, instead in a program at a hospital hidden in the nearby demon district. She only assisted with procedures as of right now, but got to treat humans and demons alike, while also improving her own magic as time went on. It was like a magical twist on a typical surgical internship, but she didn't have to attend medical school because it was rendered useless for diagnosing or treating anything non-human. Recently, her resident decided her, and the other interns were going to be on break for at least two weeks after an undisclosed incident occurred.

Just as Aron started to get comfortable, her phone rang. She groaned as she got up to look around the couch for her phone, finally finding it in between the couch cushions. She checked the caller ID, seeing Andrew's contact. "Hey!"

"Hey Aron!" Andrews' voice was soft and kind. He worked at her grandpa's company, and they met after he passed away. They'd become good friends since.

"What's up?" she asked, sitting up.

"Not much really, just um..." He cleared his throat. "I was wondering if you had any free time coming up?" he asked awkwardly, making Aron smile more.

"I should. What did you have planned?" Aron found herself blushing slightly. Andrew was a sweet guy, and truthfully, she thought he was cute. She could never bring herself to ask him out, however.

"Well... I wanted to know if I could take you to dinner tomorrow night!" he said. "If you don't want to or are too busy, I understand."

Aron grinned to herself; her tone joyous as she answered. "I'd love to!"

"Really? Awesome!" Andrew cheered, making her giggle softly.

They continued to talk for a bit about the restaurant so Aron would know what to wear before they hung up. Aron had a soft smile as she relaxed on the couch. For the first time in a while, good things were happening, and she was allowing herself to be happy. After everything that's happened in her life, she needed it.

Aron started to clean for about an hour, music playing from her phone as she washed dishes. She was interrupted by a knock on the door. She checked the time, wondering why anyone would be showing up at ten o'clock at night, before pausing her music and walking into the lobby of the mansion.

Nothing could have prepared her for what was behind the door.

Arons grip on her phone completely loosened, it falling to the floor as she stared ahead of her at five incubi, the incubi, wide eyed. They all were covered in bruises and wounds, some worse than others. Her eyes met amber ones, light blues, purple, and indigo's, but god she could have swore the world stopped when she met Sam's intense emerald gaze.

She felt a pain in her chest, a familiar but unwelcome ache as she stared at the five men who'd completely changed her life for the worse. Her ears were ringing loudly in her ears. They weren't supposed to be here.
