Abhimaan came into the room, and seeing her made his heart hurt. Paridhi was sleeping on the couch, all curled up.

Even asleep, Paridhi didn't look peaceful. Her eyebrows were pulled together, and her cheeks had dried tears on them. Abhimaan felt very guilty.

"She must have been waiting for me," he whispered to himself, being careful not to wake her.

He moved closer, walking softly. Kneeling by the couch, he could see the paths her tears had made more clearly.

"Rani sa," he said quietly, his voice full of feeling.

He reached out, wanting to wipe away the signs of her sadness.

But he stopped himself, afraid she might wake up. Instead, he pulled his hand back and made a fist.

"I'm so sorry, Rani sa," Abhimaan whispered.

"I never meant to hurt you like this."

He stood up, thinking hard about how to make things better. Then he noticed the time and it was showing 5'0 clock.

He suddenly got an idea, and a small smile appeared on his face.

"Yes, that's what I'll do," he said to himself.

Carefully, Abhimaan picked Paridhi up in his arms, holding her in bridal style.

He was extra careful not to wake her as he carried her to their bed.

After laying her down, he pulled the comforter over her and made sure the room temperature was normal for her.

With one last look at his sleeping wife, Abhimaan went to the balcony to start his plan.

About half an hour later, Paridhi began to wake up. Her eyes opened slowly, and she looked around, confused.

"How did I get to the bed?" she said quietly to herself.

Slowly, she remembered what had happened earlier, and she felt sad again.

"Rana sa?" Paridhi called out softly, sitting up and looking around the room.

But no one answered. The room was empty.

Paridhi felt her heart sink.

"He's still not back," she thought, trying hard not to cry again.

"Maybe he's still angry with me."

She got out of bed and decided to wash her face. Walking to the bathroom, Paridhi splashed cold water on her face, trying to wash away the old tears and the pain in her heart.

As she dried her face, Paridhi took a deep breath and looked at herself in the mirror.

"It's okay," she whispered to her reflection.
