I don't know if I should be happy or sad because I said on Sunday that I would update but it's already tuesday now 🙂

I literally forgot about it and no one sent even a single message to remind me. Like wow, such great readers 😭😭

Listen, the chapter was ready but I had practicals and tests going on, so I completely forgot to update 😭

Next time please remind me guys.

I feel so bad, the chapter was there but it just slipped from my mind because I was busy with my college work.

Please don't stay quiet next time send me a message if I forget to update on time!

Paridhi sat in the garden, her fingers moving lazily through the flowers scattered around her.

The sweet scent of roses and marigolds filled the air. Her mind kept drifting back to what had happened that morning in the gym, making her cheeks flush pink all over again.

"Stop thinking about it," she whispered to herself, but it was no use.

She could still feel the ghost of his touch on her skin. The memory played over and over in her mind like a favorite scene from a movie.

Paridhi let out a soft breath as she picked up her basket filled with fresh flowers. Her legs felt a little tired from sitting in the garden for so long, but her heart was happy.

The flowers she had picked were beautiful bright yellow marigolds, sweet-smelling white jasmine, and some small pink roses.

She loved how they made her basket look like a little rainbow.

She headed up the stairs, thinking about putting the flowers in pretty vases around their room.

But then she stopped.

Because there he was.

Abhimaan sat at one of the sofa of balcony, his broad back partly turned to her.

The crisp white shirt he wore stretched perfectly across his shoulders.

She could hear multiple voices coming from his laptop, clearly another important conference call.

When she noticed the little "camera off" symbol on his screen, she couldn't help but smile.

That was so like him. Abhimaan never showed his face in meetings unless he really had to.

She remembered what he told her once: "They don't need to see me to hear what I have to say."

And something about that quiet confidence made her heart flutter every time.

Her eyes traced over him slowly, taking in every detail. His sleeves were rolled up to his elbows something he did when he was deep in work revealing his strong veiny forearms.
