Short note!!!
Please read
I read a comment on the previous chapter and it felt accusatory to me.
So, I just want to say if you can't comment something good, don't comment at all! This is my story and I think I know best how it goes. All three stories are equal to me. But since it is going on different time zones and time periods, it is adjusted that way.
And if someone thinks that is being biased, I just wish them good luck.Anyway, this is a Vikram and Dhara special chapter that the story was leading up to!
Him
3 months back
Mihir stops the car in front of a small cottage like villa.
Nitish Sharma holds out the door open for me and I climb out. "Have you told your daughter about this?"
He lowers his gaze and replies, "She knows. She has been informed, Sarkar."
I hum as he leads us inside. We enter the living room and it is filled with antiques that scream richness and money. I understand now where he uses all the money that we pay him.
I look outside the window and I nod in its direction.
"I'll meet her outside, in the garden." I inform, not wanting to meet the girl in a room reeking with wealth accumulated by her father's money laundering.
Nitish glances at me in confusion but he nods and lead the way out. The sun is not harsh and the weather seems perfect for an outdoor meeting.
I sit down at one of the lawn chairs and lean back. "Your daughter?"
"Papa!" A sweet feminine voice catches my attention. Nitish moves to a side and I notice her.
She looks like an angel in that simple outfit. Somewhere I doubt if she is even his daughter, considering the innocence in her brown eyes."Vikram Thakur," her father introduces me.
Her eyes shine with awareness and she smiles softly. "Go and bring tea for him," Nitish tells her in a stern voice with slight disappointment. She nods in fear and runs back.
