Aditya's words stop midway when he sees Amara walk in. He steps a little away from the guest who he was conversing with. Her eyes catch his gaze and she smiles softly, feeling everyone's gaze on them. She looks at Dhara and holds her hand in assurance.
Amara and Dhara look around for Isha as she was missing even when they were getting ready for this ceremony.
They both saw her standing next to Agastya and smiling at them.
"I think our brother-in-law stopped her leaving his side. He always acts possessive of her." Dhara whispers to Amara. She giggles and tells Dhara. "I think it runs in the family."Dhara follows Amara's line of vision and she sees Vikram's attentive eyes on her. She couldn't stop the blush heat up her cheeks. A vivid memory of what they had done in his study played in her mind.
She quickly looks back at Amara and helps her to where two seats were kept for the haldi ceremony.
Isha was about to go towards them when Agastya holds her hand, securing her next to him. She glances at him and asks, "is this your punishment?" He hums and she feels her shoulders less burdened. Isha notices Viraj looking at his cousin with taunting smile. She sighs and looks at Avni, she could see the abhor in her eyes for Amara.
Avni had a personality that screams haughty superiority. Isha hadn't seen her talk to anyone politely yet alone smile.
Dhara stands next to Amara, not wanting to meet Vikram's gaze or attention.
"Bhabhi, can we start the ceremony?" Aditya asks a little impatient. She smiles and looks the empty table where the haldi was supposed to be kept. She had forgotten to bring the haldi that she had prepared. She walks up to Isha and whispers to her to get the haldi. Isha nods and looks at Agastya who reluctantly lets go of her and she dashed out of there.
Isha found the haldi kept on a big thali in one of the kitchen islands. She was about to pick it up when she hears Viraj's voice, "let me help you with that,"
She turns around to see him standing by the doorframe. She passes him a grateful smile, "I'll manage." She tries to pick it up on her own but Viraj swiftly covers the gap and takes it from her hand. Isha wanted to protest but keeps quiet, he is their guest after all.
They step out of there together and start to walk back to the party with an awkward silence. She feels anxious and tries to find something to talk about. "You are an artist?" She questions and he just hums with a side smile.
"What do you paint? Can I see your paintings?" She asks enthusiastically. He narrows his eyes at her. "Aren't you very fascinated with art?"
She grins at him. "Even I love to paint that's why."
