"It's still raining huh?" Yeonjun mumbled, looking out of his office's window.

The rain fell in a steady rhythm, drumming against the window as Yeonjun worked late at the office. The pitter-patter of raindrops provided a soothing backdrop to the quiet night, the city outside cloaked in a veil of misty darkness. The clock on his desk read 10:45 pm, the time slipping by as Yeonjun focused on his work, the only light in the office coming from the glow of his computer screen.

The atmosphere in his office was quiet, until someone decided to interrupt.

"Sir, there's someone who wants to see you." A staff knocked on the glass door, giving the information to Yeonjun.

"Who is it?" He asked, not really paying attention.

"She claims to be the CEO of VN Fashion and Co." The staff supplied the information, making Yeonjun stop dead on his track.

The CEO of VN Fashion? His blood ran cold hearing that. Why was she here?

"Let her in." Yeonjun replied back, straightening his posture.

"Yes Sir." The staff nodded and went away, and soon after a series of footsteps were heard, heels clacking against the wooden tiles of Yeonjun's office, making their presence known.

"Long time no see, Junie." A slightly deep female voice rang inside the silence of the office, making Yeonjun scoff in annoyance.

"Why would I wanna see you anyways Wonie." Yeonjun replied, rather harshly.

"The despise still lingers I see." She chuckled, sitting down on the couch placed across Yeonjun.

"What else do you expect from me, after that day?" Yeonjun replied, looking away from her, to which she just chuckled.

"Still hung up on that day aren't you, Yeonjun-ah?" She giggled, knowing the effect she still had on the man sitting infront of her.

"It's not the type of "Stuck on you" you think it is, don't flatter yourself too much Lee." Yeonjun replied, his patience getting the better of him. God, even Beomgyu's annoying motor- mouth was more tolerable than hers.

"Why are you here anyways?" He asked sharply, leaning onto the table as he crossed his arms, raising his eyebrows in curosity.

"To the point like always huh? You're the still the same." She shook her head before speaking again.

"You didn't see the need to invite your childhood bestfriend to your wedding? I thought I deserved that much Junie." She asked, a mocking smile plastered on her face.

"You bet. Why would I invite a liar in a moment of truth and loyalty?" Yeonjun asked with a smirk.

"Loyalty and truth? Do you really Love Beomgyu then?" She asked, fueling the fire.

Yeonjun's jaw tensed hearing Beomgyu's name from her mouth. Why and how did she know about Beomgyu? He thought he kept his wedding and every information private enough.

So not only did she ruin his most precious day and broke his heart, but now she's also keeping tabs on him and stalking him like a typical obsessive ex?

"Obsessed much? You even found out who I married?" He retorted back with a smirk, making her expression drop.

Hah! Got her.

"Me? Obsessed with you? Not in this lifetime Yeonjun. I have my ways, just like you do. I know you kept tabs on me as well. Don't take me to be a naive little girl, I'm not that Jiwon you knew five years ago anymore." She kept her ground, making Yeonjun's ego falter as well.

She still had that grip on his ego today as well, just like five years ago.

"Guess we're fair in this." Yeonjun sighed, annoyed out of his mind.

Why did she have to appear again and ruin his peaceful evening?

"Mhm. So...when are you making me officially meet Beomgyu? Or... don't tell me, you didn't tell your husband about me." She said with a mocking grin, which made Yeonjun's temper sky-rocket.

Who was she to judge his relationship with Beomgyu?

"You don't need to assume stuff about My Husband. Why are you so interested in him anyways?" He replied, almost scowling at her.

"Well-"

*Ring*

Yeonjun's phone interrupted whatever stuff Jiwon was about to say, Yeonjun's attention quickly diverted towards the black object vibrating against his glass table.

Incoming call from Motor-mouth

Yeonjun had never been happier because of a phone call from Beomgyu.

"My husband's calling, so can you get out of the room?" Yeonjun said with a cocky smirk, picking up the call; which made Jiwon scowl and rolling her eyes, getting up to leave the room.

"I was about to leave either ways." She retorted, about to leave when she heard Yeonjun talk to Beomgyu on call.

"Yes my Love?" Yeonjun spoke sweetly on the phone, eyeing Jiwon with a mischievous smirk, and she just rolled her eyes, leaving immediately.

She didn't need to hear any of their cringe talk.

"M-my love? H-huh?" Beomgyu, whose eyes were wide as saucers in the other side, stuttered out in confusion.

Yeonjun? Being this sweet and calling him such a sweet pet-name? Was he hearing things right?

"Yes, can't I call my husband that?" Yeonjun questioned, looking if Jiwon was still around.

"I-i mean yes! Ofcourse you can!" Beomgyu replied, getting flustered. Did the kiss from yesterday alter Yeonjun's brain-chemistry? Or was it the hand-holding this morning?

Whatever it was, Beomgyu was too happy about it.

"So, why'd you call me Gyu?" Yeonjun asked, now wanting to know the reason Beomgyu called him. He remembers telling him he'll be late.

"Oh yeah...I wanted to say, can you come home early? I know you said you'll be late tonight, but there was thundering near, and there is a blackout. I don't really like being alone in the darkness, I'm surviving with a candle right now, and it's raining still, so please bring some candles as well?" Beomgyu ranted all at once, and Yeonjun could tell he was anxious.

Yes, Beomgyu was currently sitting on his bed, with a candle lit up on the table, fidgeting with the ring Yeonjun had given him previously, trying not to go insane with his fear of Darkness.

"A blackout? Damn....okay I'll be there soon. Hang on a bit yeah?" Yeonjun answered, feeling the anxiety of Beomgyu from the phone. He knew, fears weren't good to deal with. He himself had a fear of Crowds and crowded places, and even though he was getting better with it, the experience still wasn't nice.

"Okay... I'll be waiting." Beomgyu replied meekly, and ended the call.

"He'll be okay right? He better be."
