A hard hand wrapped around my neck sent my body a danger signal and I bet I'm sweating like a pig just because of fear running inside my body . My mind froze for a moment , my vision dark and on the other hand my heart beats . My mouth dried along with a different feeling arising in the pit of my stomach and I suddenly want to puke somewhere . This fear is what we must fear about my mind isn't working . I didn't remember when I am pinned against the wall and a callous hand wrapped around my mouth and in order to keep me in place his other hand is on lower back now .
"Shh... Its me Adhvi." The familiar voice sent shivers down my spine and that's when I realised , I was closing my eyes in fear as anxiety pulled me in . I opened my eyes slowly , my breaths coming out faster than usual .
As I opened my eyes I looked at the handsome face in front me . Rajveer ! He is standing in front of me so close that if I open my lips It would touch his . I looked at his eyes who were staring deep down into my soul , finding something to complete the puzzle pieces but its not so possible or easy to do . A sudden rush of anger and hurt started rising inside my veins as I remembered the video earlier from the unknown person . And now I want to scream at him for the truth that is going to unveil soon .
But deep down , I am hurt , hurt so badly that I could just jump down my apartment and will still smile at the pain because there is no pain that I haven't felt in this short span of my life .
"What are you thinking?" His deep voice brought me back to my dark room which is dim and dark both .
I didn't utter a word to answer his question but kept staring at him just because I don't want to cry right now . I started looking everywhere but him .
"Look at me Adhvi , I am saying this for the last time . Next time I'll....." He said in his firm tone but stopped in mid-sentence as if gesturing me to understand the circumstances if I didn't follow his little order.
"Then what?" I asked cocking my eyebrow at him as I folded my arms across my chest , openly challenging him .
"Cat got your tongue , Mr. Rajveer." I mocked when I didn't get a reply from him . I was looking at him for an answer but instead yelped at the sudden movement as he picked me up in his arms in a swift movement .
"This is just a little reminder that If next you'll keep ignoring me . I'm going to teach you a good lesson ." He whispered in his most husky tone which is utterly sexy at some point .
I gulped visibly at his threat but kept mum while holding his eyes for a long moment . The room felt silent that I can hear our heart beats . We both looked at each other for a long moment sharing not even a single word . This silence kept lingering in between us except our racing hearts .
