"But I love him," Nanon mumbled, the confession barely audible. Chimon missed the words, so Nanon quickly changed his approach. "He is my friend," he said more clearly. Chimon looked at him, puzzled.

"Friend?" Chimon repeated, his eyebrows knitting together in confusion.

Nanon smiled softly, memories of his time with Ohm flooding his mind. "Yes, I don't know how or when, but he became my friend. Everyone sees a dangerous man in Ohm, but I see the normal man in him," Nanon explained, his eyes reflecting the depth of his feelings.

Chimon's eyes softened at Nanon's words. Nanon had always been an innocent, kind-hearted person, easy to get along with, and someone like Ohm being close to him was both terrifying and reassuring. Chimon, being a psychiatrist, could read people well. He saw beyond Nanon's cheerful and confident exterior, recognizing the lonely soul searching for connection. He also sensed that Nanon's feelings for Ohm went beyond friendship, but he didn't want to push his friend too hard. He decided to wait for Nanon to admit it on his own.

"We must change him somehow," Nanon said, breaking Chimon out of his thoughts.

"Change? How?" Chimon asked, intrigued but skeptical. Nanon smirked, determination shining in his eyes.

NO ONE POV

"Good evening! Welcome to the 99 Wars news bulletin! The city is terrorized by ongoing gang wars."

Nanon and Chimon walked into the bustling news channel office, taking in the sight of the production team working on the latest broadcast.

Nanon called out, "Excuse me!"

A production assistant turned around, looking slightly harried. "Yes?"

"Who is Tu Tontawan here?" Nanon asked.

"Tu... she's over there." The production girl pointed to Tu, who was currently live on air, reading the news with practiced poise.

"On the occasion of the thousandth episode telecast, the series unit is planning to arrange house party..." Tu abruptly threw the paper to the ground, standing up in frustration.

"Is this even a news?" she shouted, her voice echoing through the studio.

"Madam! We are live..." the director tried to intervene as she stormed towards the channel manager.

Chimon whispered to Nanon, "Who is she?"

"His lover. Ex-lover," Nanon replied. Chimon sighed and asked, "Is this your plan?"

"If we want him to change his focus, we have to bring them together," Nanon explained, making Chimon roll his eyes at his seemingly foolish friend.

"If she's his past, why bring her into the present? How about finding him a new boyfri— I mean, girlfriend?" Chimon suggested, but Nanon shook his head.

"No, she's the best option," Nanon said, his voice cracking a little at the thought of Ohm being with someone else. He closed his eyes, trying to compose himself.

"Enough, sir. I cannot read this garbage news," Tu's voice echoed through the studio. Nanon and Chimon turned their attention back to her.

"For five years, I've been asking you for crime investigations," Tu argued with the manager.

"I gave you two chances. What did you do? News about a pickpocket on a bus and a slipper thief at a temple. Is there anything sensational in that? Try for a sensational news story," the manager retorted, then sighed. "We should talk about this later. Finish the news first."
