Ajay's fear deepened, his voice cracking as he asked, "And what if Ohm doesn't come out? Or if he finds me before you can act?"

David's gaze was unyielding, his tone firm.

"Ohm is driven by vengeance. His need for retribution will outweigh his fear. You're the key to making him come out. Here's your chance to make a difference. He will come after you and I manage him, or things don't go as planned."

Ajay's shoulders slumped in resignation. "Alright. I'll do what you ask."

David's eyes softened slightly, "Be courageous for just one day. I'll take care of the rest. This is your opportunity to set things right and for us to finally get our revenge."

As Ajay agreed, David felt a sense of satisfaction. The café's peaceful ambiance contrasted sharply with the storm that was brewing.

NO ONE POV

Nanon stood in front of his mirror, adjusting the collar of his shirt for what felt like the hundredth time.

Tonight was the night he would confess to Ohm. After months of uncertainty, stolen glances, and secret feelings, Nanon had finally mustered up the courage to tell Ohm everything. His heart raced, thumping hard against his chest as he tried to calm the storm brewing inside him.

"It's now or never," Nanon muttered under his breath, straightening his posture as he grabbed his phone. With one last glance in the mirror, he inhaled deeply and left his room, ready to meet Ohm.

.

On the other side of town, at a dimly lit restaurant, Prim sat nervously.

The Chief, seated on the other side of the table, was speaking to Prim over an earpiece, their voice muffled but serious.

"As soon as he enters, all the entries and exits will be closed. You handle Nanon. Be on alert," the Chief instructed, their eyes cold and calculating.

Prim nodded, her hands clutching the edge of the table as a wave of guilt washed over her.

"Yes," she replied softly, her voice betraying her unease. Deep down, something inside her screamed to stop this, to warn Nanon. But she stayed silent, trapped between her loyalty to her job and her concern for her friend.

.

Meanwhile, Ohm was in his car, a palpable excitement lighting up his face.

This was the first time Nanon had reached out to him directly for something important, and Ohm was interpreting it as a possible date. His mind raced with possibilities as he tapped his fingers on the armrest.

"Hey, drive quickly. I'm getting late," Ohm said, glancing at Perth with a teasing smile. Perth's grin widened as he started the car, the engine purring softly in the quiet night.

But just as Perth was about to pull out, his phone rang. He answered the call, his expression shifting from casual to serious.

"Ajay!" Perth's voice was filled with concern as he hung up. Ohm's face darkened, the excitement in his eyes replaced by a steely resolve.

"Let's go." Ohm said

Perth nodded, shifting the car into gear as he drove toward Ajay's last known location.

.

At a nearby bar, Ajay was drinking his drink, his movements unsteady and his gaze paranoid. His phone was clutched tightly in his hand as he dialed David's number.
