Arc 2.1 Chen Wei

In the boundless night sky, a light was standing in the darkness.

It looked down on the dust that settled in the ground with a contemtaplative look on its face, its eyes hidden behind the eyelids.

When the dust settled, it watch a figure lying on the ground.

On the ground, a lifeless body was lying with blood all over their body.

His shirt was tattered like he was ravaged by a beast as blood flows out of his body like a flood creating a large carpet of crimson on its wake, his eyes look lifelessly on the sky as if his soul was taken away.

On his hand, was a unknown flower blooming like the whitest snow falling from the sky and the purest white that could not be stained with dirt and grime even when trampled on the ground.

Tears fell from his soulless eyes mixed with blood as if he cried bloody tears than pure tears.

It was as if the whole world had fallen down on him and that no one could save his fallen soul.

The white ball of light descended upon this person but even its light could not enter the deepest abyss of his eyes.

The light roamed around above his face and shone brightly with a crimson red and a fragrance that was out of this world circled on him. a scent of roses exploded in the wind.

[Human, are you tired of this world?]

A voice echoed on the air but the human who was at the end of its life did not respond.

[Human, this world had brought you great happiness but also brought you great pain and despair. No happiness could fix your heart]

Still, he did not answer.

[You are one of the purest soul I have ever encountered, its a rare thing that you are not tainted black like this world. A pure heart like yours is likely to suffer more from the despair this world is meant to suffer]

Having the will to live, with his final breath he signed a deal with the System.

"Take everything you want from me. Be it my flesh or blood, even my soul is too cheap for this chance, I give you everything just let me save him. Let me save the person who should have not died, the person who is too good for this world. Let me save him, its all I ask."

Chen Wei woke up with a start.

His head buzzed with headache and found himself in bed.

Was he dreaming? He thought.

But all that he experienced in the dream felt too real that experiencing the mental riot in his dream was too painful that he did not think that what he experience could have been a dream at all.

"I'm back? I'm really back?!"

Chen Wei happily screamed and celebrated the fact that he was actually back.

"What day is it? How is he now? Did I already meet him? "

Chen Wei quickly got out of bed and check his optical computer to search for news about A'Ming.

He could not wait to see A'Ming, he missed him so much that he was about to go crazy.

A'Ming was a female insect who save him in the garbage planet when his escape pod landed on the garbage planet after he escape the space pirates hijacking the spaceship that he was on.

In order not to be taken away by the pirates, he bravely run away from the pirates and successfully escape from the spaceship.

If not for A'Ming who rescued and taken him in, an underage male insect like himself who had not experienced the world would have been taken advantage of by other female insects and died there in the garbage planet never to return.
