Arc 2.6 Chen Wei

The sound of water sounded inside the shower, drips of water falling from some height felt like beating drums inside Chen Wei's ears.

It was almost bedtime and after they had dinner, Chen Wei and A'Ming awkwardly walk to the bedroom.

Both of them were silent in tacit understanding.

A'Ming who could not stand the silence quickly took a shower so he could avoid the awkwardness between the two of them but the low sound of shower water only intensifies the small burning flame inside of Chen Wei.

Chen Wei who was waiting for A'Ming to finish showering felt a bit nervous and antsy.

He felt nervous and restless at the same time while watching the slow turning of the clock on the wall.

When, the sound of water suddenly stops.

Chen Wei who was already nervous became even more nervous and he avoided looking at the door of the shower room with dodging eyes.

A'Ming who just finished taking a shower came out, his body was red like a cooked shrimp after he had finished taking a warm bath.

Water drips down from his wet hair falling down along his neck towards his cheeks, down the hidden slope of his chest.

Chen Wei could not help but swallow when he saw such as scene from the corner of his eyes and then wanted to slap himself for imagining such a scene.

"I'm going to wash up."

Chen Wei quickly walks toward  the shower and closes the door behind him with almost a slam,

Chen Wei opened the cold shower water and let it hit his head to calm his thoughts down.

He was so hurried that he did not even take his clothes off and let the cold water wet him directly.

Chen Wei does not know what is happening to him but he just suddenly felt hot when he saw A'Ming.

He hit his head on the wall printing a visible red on his forehead but even so he did not feel the pain at all, he let the cold water hit him even harder.

It was about half an hour when he finally calmed down.

When he step back into his room after changing into his pajamas and drying his hair, he found that the room was dark and that only the bedside lamp was turned on near his side.

A'Ming was already sleeping facing the other side where he can't see his face.

Chen Wei slowly got in under the sheets and softly lies down not wanting to wake up A'Ming who was already sleeping.

He closed his eyes then opened his eyes.

He stared at the dark ceiling in silence.

He can't sleep.

Chen Wei turned to his side facing A'Ming's side and almost screamed in fright.

A'Ming who was supposed to be asleep was staring at him with wide open eyes.

His black eyes looked at him blankly making Chen Wei think that the darkness inside his eyes is about to gobble him up in one breath not even spitting out bones.

"A'Ming, why are you not sleeping yet?" Chen Wei asked almost in a whisper.

A'Ming just stared at him, Chen Wei thought that he did not want to answer.

But A'Ming spoke.

His words were the same "ah" sounds like before that could not be understood by insects but being with A'Ming for a few months he somehow understood what the other wanted to convey with him even though he is only humming.
