A Grandfather's Support
Taehyung sat in Grandpa Jeon's office, his eyes shining with determination. He had been thinking about this moment for weeks, rehearsing the words he would say to convince his grandfather to support his dream of studying at London University.
"Grandpa Jeon, I want to study at London University," Taehyung said, his voice firm and resolute.
Grandpa Jeon looked up from his desk, his eyes warm with encouragement. "Then who's stopping you, Taehyung?" he asked, his voice gentle and probing.
Taehyung hesitated, his voice barely above a whisper. "You know, hyung's don't have much money. They can't send me there." He looked down, his eyes fixed on the floor, as if ashamed to admit the truth.
Grandpa Jeon's expression turned stern, his eyes flashing with anger. "Then I will send you," he said, his voice firm and commanding. "Don't worry, I will stay with you till your graduation."
Taehyung's eyes widened in surprise, his heart racing with excitement. He had not expected his grandfather to offer to support him so fully. He had thought that he would have to convince him, to persuade him that this was the right decision. But Grandpa Jeon's words were like a balm to his soul, soothing his fears and calming his doubts.
But then, Taehyung's face fell, his eyes clouding with worry. "No, no, Grandpa Jeon," he said, his voice trembling with fear. "If Namjoon hyung finds out I talked to you about this, he'll be angry with me."
Grandpa Jeon's face softened, his eyes filled with understanding. He knew that Taehyung was afraid of his hyung's reaction, afraid of being rejected or criticized. But he also knew that Taehyung was a talented and hardworking young man, and that he deserved a chance to pursue his dreams.
"Don't worry, baby bear," Grandpa Jeon said, his voice gentle and reassuring. "I'll talk to him. Go and bring all your documents. We'll apply for admission."
Taehyung's face lit up with hope, his eyes shining with gratitude. He knew that with Grandpa Jeon's support, he could achieve his dreams. And he was grateful for the love and encouragement of his grandfather, who believed in him no matter what.
With a newfound sense of determination, Taehyung stood up, his shoulders squared and his head held high. He knew that he had a long road ahead of him, but he was ready to face it, knowing that Grandpa Jeon was by his side.
"Thank you, Grandpa Jeon," Taehyung said, his voice filled with emotion. "Thank you for believing in me."
Grandpa Jeon smiled, his eyes warm with pride. "I'll always believe in you, baby bear," he said. "You're a talented and capable young man, and I know you'll make me proud."
And with that, Taehyung left the office, his heart full of hope and his spirit renewed. He knew that he had a bright future ahead of him, and he was grateful for the love and support of his grandfather, who had always been there for him.
A Heart-to-Heart Talk
After some time, Taehyung returned with his documents, and he and Grandpa Jeon filled out the application form for London University. Grandpa Jeon then called Namjoon to meet with him, wanting to discuss Taehyung's future.
When Namjoon arrived, Grandpa Jeon sat him down in the living room, and they both sat in silence for a moment, collecting their thoughts. Grandpa Jeon then began to speak, his voice filled with conviction.
"Namjoon, I know you're worried about Taehyung's future, but I want you to know that I'll take care of him. I'll make sure he gets the best education possible, and I'll be there for him every step of the way."
Namjoon hesitated, his eyes filled with concern. "Grandpa, I appreciate your offer, but I can't let you do that. You and Grandma Jeon have already done so much for us after our parents passed away. I can't burden you with more responsibility."
Grandpa Jeon's face softened, his eyes filled with understanding. "Namjoon, you're not a burden to me. You're my grandsons, and it's my pleasure to help you in any way I can. Besides, Taehyung is a talented young man, and he deserves this opportunity. I promise you, I'll take good care of him."
Namjoon looked at Grandpa Jeon, his eyes searching for reassurance. He knew that his grandfather was a man of his word, and he trusted him completely. But he was still worried about the financial burden that Taehyung's education would place on Grandpa Jeon.
"Grandpa, I know you're willing to help, but are you sure you can afford it? London University is expensive, and I don't want you to strain your finances for our sake."
Grandpa Jeon smiled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Namjoon, my son minhoo is CEO his company is no 1 company but if you don't want to take his help , I've worked hard to build a comfortable life for myself and your grandmother. And I've always been careful with my finances. I can afford to send Taehyung to London University, and I want to do it. It's my pleasure to help him achieve his dreams."
Namjoon nodded, his face set in determination. "Okay, Grandpa. I trust you. If you think this is best for Taehyung, then I agree."
Grandpa Jeon smiled, his eyes shining with gratitude. "Thank you, Namjoon. I promise you, I'll make sure Taehyung succeeds."
As they talked, Taehyung sat in his room, his heart filled with anxiety. He had been waiting for what felt like an eternity for Namjoon and Grandpa Jeon to finish their discussion. He knew that his future was at stake, and he couldn't bear the thought of disappointing his hyung or his grandfather.
Finally, after what seemed like hours, Namjoon came into his room, a smile on his face. "Hey, Taehyung. Grandpa Jeon and I have decided that you can go to London University. He's going to take care of everything, and I'm going to support you every step of the way."
Taehyung's face lit up with joy, his heart filled with gratitude. "Thank you, hyung! Thank you, Grandpa Jeon!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with emotion.
Namjoon smiled, his eyes warm with pride. "You deserve it, Taehyung. You're a talented young man, and I know you'll make us proud."
And with that, the decision was made. Taehyung would go to London University, and Grandpa Jeon would be there to support him every step of the way. Namjoon left the meeting feeling relieved, knowing that his brother was in good hands.
